The ambiance is wonderful. I recommend sitting poolside. The Dragon Roll sushi and Oxtail Fried Rice were just OK. The sushi was... overpriced for the amount. Then it didn't wow me. The Oxtail Fried Rice was not flavorful and a little disappointing. LycheeMartini was excellent. The service was good. We were given complimentary sake for our birthdays. Read more

Loved my experience here. The sushi was amazing. So fresh and very well made. I sat at the sushi bar and really enjoyed the... atmosphere. I also liked the grilled avocado!! The place was also packed which gave a wonderful hip vibe. I will be back!! Read more

Everything was Delicious!!! Faith was our server and she was out of this world! Extremely attentive and went out of her way to... do a little candle on our dessert for my husband and I for our anniversary. Freshest Sushi I have ever had! Highly recommend thecrispy rice with tuna Read more

Barbecue beef tips were delicious with the white sweet potatoes. YUMMY!!! I ordered the fried chicken which I did not get a... picture of because I had to wait so long for it to come, everybody else was done eating at my table by the time my platearrived. But I did love it. I didn't like the fact that it doesn't come with any sides. The portions were really small and itwas really pricey. Probably won't return here again, although the food wasn't bad. Sushi at its best! Our server was from Portugal and he traveled to Japan and other Asian countries which made him love this... food. He explained every dish we ordered and added a bit a history to it. We were impressed with his suggestions. Definitelycoming back to this restaurant when I visit Miami next. It’s a bit on the expensive side and portion sizes are smaller thanmost NYC restaurants. A sushi roll here comes with 6 pieces only. They do have a variety of options in sushi rolls and sashimi.Do try the fried rice here. It was delicious !! The dessert here was good. Ordered a cream brûlée and key lime pie. Read more

We had a great dinner at the restaurant. We did not stay at the hotel but the vibe was good and inviting. The menu is Asian... inspired and is half sushi half Asian dishes. We choose to sit inside to get out of the heat but the courtyard looked cosy andbeautiful. The servings were plenty the food was good. The sushi were not just the more regular types but offered some variety. The fried rice with duck was a huge portion but maybe a little on the bland side but good taste. The waitress was friendly andmade us feel welcome. The desserts were delicious and the Asian take on a classic crème brûlée was interesting and delicious.I would recommend this place. Read more

My friend and I visited Miami Beach for Spring Break this week, and we were planning to walk around Lincoln Road and then head... over to the Bass Museum. We were hungry for lunch so we Googled food options in the area and found Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar &Grill- South Beach, which is located at the Plymouth Hotel one block away from the Bass Museum. It was about 2:30pm so therestaurant wasn't too full, and we could choose between poolside outdoor seating or indoors. We chose indoors to cool down fromthe heat for a bit. My friend had the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice for $23, and I had the Sushi Platter for $29, which also came withmiso soup. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was by far and away the highlight of the meal so definitely try it out if you go! Read more

Ali & Alex!!!! Where do we begin!? The hosts were cunning and clever. Equally as humor oriented as professional. Seated at the... raw bar for what would set in to be a great evening with the simple plan of light cuts and sake, turned into a cultured andfocused flavor experience. Ali my server was brilliant. She knew the Sake list well, focused around making sure I was able tofind a pallet that matched my interest. Thanks to Alex the Sushi Chef I was able explore a sashimi selection that was tailoredto the sake we selected together. All for what many would find a more than acceptable and happy to spend price for an evening inMiami. Read more
