Amazing food! I’ve rarely been so taken back but the food here really took me by surprise. The meat and cheese of the burger... tasted fresh, the churrasco was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp flatbread was fresh and tasty. My daughter is a picky eaterand she absolutely loved the shrimp flatbread. It’s a very small and cozy restaurant and the owners are a wonderful couple. Best guava and cheese PASTELITOS! We tried fried cauliflower salad and avocado toast, both of them were delicious! Stuff it’s... super friendly and the whole place it’s a vibe! Today we passed by Vilen, a new local eatery in Kendall. The owners Mikaela and Santiago greeted us when we came in. They gave... us a tasting of their best empanadas. We tired a brisket empanada, then a pork empanada, later a chicken empanada and last, apork 2.0 empanada. I can say we loved all 4. My favorite ones were the brisket and pork 2.0. They served their empanadas withvarious sauces; a guava (sweet), a cilantro (really nice and not oily at all) and their home made chimichurri. Try them all andfind out which one you like best. I can say this place will fit perfectly with the up and coming food scene in Kendall. Come outand support this local place. Read more
Went here for breakfast this morning! I Love the location it’s a lovely plaza not to busy and very clean. I was very impressed... with the interior decoration when I walked in the door, there was plenty of aesthetic pleasure! When I went in I was actuallythe only one there around 9:45am and service was fast and very friendly! The food was amazing in both the looks and tastedepartment I would really recommend you try the Vilen Cuban Sandwich, the Nutella Berry Toast, and the Vilen signaturemilkshake! They are Delicious!!!
