Reviews for Tigre in Miami, FL
I have to give credit for the décor of this place - it’s very pleasant to the eye and the cameras. The river views are not... the most romantic unfortunately - we saw mostly the bridge and the river in cement-embankment. The food was good, but nothingspectacular to justify the price. Read more
This weekend we decided to meet with friends at the highly coveted restaurant El Tigre in North Miami. This place is hidden yet... easy to find, it is located near Biscayne Blvd, lodged in between 78th ST and Little River. Once you get there you should notworry about street parking, they conveniently provide valet parking for their patrons for $10+tips (cash and CC areaccepted). How can I best describe the restaurant in three words? It is stylish, delicious, and SO Miami! Art Deco meets Safariat El Tigre. They offer inside and outside sitting. Their patio overlooks the Little River in N. Miami which is a Manateesanctuary… If you are lucky, you will be able to see these beautiful animals passing by. We ordered a couple of bottles ofwine through the evening. For appetizers to share amongst ourselves we order the croquetas; buñuelos; mollejas, and tunatartare. Then we ordered our entrees, my friends ordered a couple of “Pollito a La Piedra”, my wife ordered la“Milanga”, and I had the “36 Hr Beef Rib”. For dessert I had the “Dulce de Leche Flan”. Everything was delicious! Ihighly recommend it, and there are still so many things they offer in the menu we need to try… We are coming back for sure. They offer a full bar with the most incredible list of cocktails; their brunch seems to be in a category of its own. It would begreat to be there for brunch, surrounded by your friends and family, drinking your favorite cocktail-beer-spirit, and see afamily of manatees casually go by… Again SO Miami! I want to give a shout out to our waitress Solange, she did a great jobexplaining the menu, and her customer service was on point. I did not take many pictures with my camera, but you can easilyfind images online. I am going to share what I have. The bill came up to $600 for a table of five, we ordered wine, appetizers, entrees, and dessert. I say this should give them a rating of $$ to $$$. I am giving El Tigre a 4-star review... for now.Because there is always room Read more
5 stars all around! Beautiful spot on the water with a great food menu, amazing take on popular dishes with fresh produce and a... better wine list. Thank you Pablo and the whole team for an unforgettable night! Can’t wait to go back. Read more
Hello. I have seen this spot changing through the years. I remember the greek ouzos and the italian restaurant that came after.... Possibly something else before tigre but nothing else. I waited for deborah del corrals restaurant to open n finally it didopen. Well, I had a good dinner here but I would like to mention a few things that got my attention tonight. I made areservation, after waiting outside for a bit I dont know why, we had access to two of the four seatings at the bar. Plenty emptytables outside and inside. Hostess called me half an hour after my reservation time. Restaurant have had an amazingtransformation since last time I have been there when it was still italian. Now it supposed to be argentinian but the menudoesnt look like except melon con jamon, some meat cuts or desserts. We had melon con jamon soaked in olive oil, tuna tartarewith beet and strawberry sauce, crab croquettes, sea bass with side of mushrooms, and chocolate cake for dessert. I dontunderstand why they charge $5 for four pieces of bread. Argentinians do not pay a penny for bread back home. Especially afterthree appetizers, one main dish, one side dish, four drinks, and one dessert. Restaurant can lose customers for this insultingpractice. To be honest food was excellent but all the portions were tiny. Too small. Service at the bar was great. Tks so muchtigre!!! Read more
Scrumptious meal by the river (I love the location). The restaurant itself has a cute, intimate, vintage vibe. I’ve been... meaning to visit for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did! Read more
Great Argentinian spacious restaurant, fast service, staff and waiters are nice and friendly. Most important is that the food... was good. Nothing to complain about. Outdoor seating by the canal was a great spot. $10 valet parking should have been includedby the restaurant since it’s such a remote location Read more
The place is a bit hidden but there is a lot of parking and they also offer valet service. The restaurant is beautifully... decorated and the themed is very Art Deco. The restaurant is very spacious so we were not close to other people. They offeropen table reservations which is great! The host was really nice and sat us right away and our server was such a sweetheart andvery helpful. I had the pasta and my husband had the Picanha, both dishes were delicious. They offer a variety of beers and wineand their menu has a little bit of everything. My cocktail drink was $10 and my husband’s beer was about $6 I believe. I wouldrecommended it!! Read more
Great place! Lovely decorated, food is really tasty although I found the portions to be small. It was super weird not to be... offered with bread. Great cocktails and wine list. Overall great experience but I found it pricey compared to their location, portions and other similar restaurants. Make your reservations! Place gets packed. Read more
