I drove up and noticed cars leaving the drive through. I wondered, are they closed? Saw four cars in front of us reach the drive... up speaker and drive off. Weird? Its our turn and the one and only employee told us she was not taking any orders at this time.Why? We asked! ?I?m alone and am bogged down with orders! - Sorry!? Wow! Horrible experience. I used to love coming here and getting a quick smoothie through the drive thru. But today that all changed.... I was the only car in the drive thru and when I drove up to the order box, they said hold on one moment. Not 30 seconds later,someone comes on and says ?sorry we can?t take your order right now. We?re changing the cash register.? I was so confused andreally disappointed because when I looked inside no one was working and looked like everyone was talking. First time i went through the drive through had a great experience. My smoothie was made in a time efficient manner and the... consistency/texture was perfect. Sadly, every visit there after (4-5 times) were all disappointing. Either too much ice, orincorrect consistency or something kept on being off. Also would use the drive through to get something while on my work brakebut sometimes its too busy and backed up and does not move as fast as it could to be considered a viable option for a quick onwork brake drink. You can also tell that it's a young staff with not much spark for the job which is completely understandable.Young, likely in school, little to no responsibility or bills, getting paid what I am sure is not enough to make an independentliving, I would be on the same vibe too. This is usually my Smoothie King of choice because of the drive thru and how empty it usually is. I always make mobile orders... and have not had a problem with receiving them in a timely manner. I usually have a positive experience at this location, exceptfor the last time I went. I made a mobile order but due to traffic, I was about 10-15 minutes late picking it up. Instead ofputting it in the freezer as they usually do, the employee just left it on the counter. Once he handed it to me, it was warm andunenjoyable. I had already driven off by the time I tried it and did not want to go back to have him remake it, so I went homeand froze it myself. I will likely still visit this location as that was one negative experience out of 3 other positive onesand I love the convenience of the drive thru. P.S.- My smoothie of choice is Vegan Mango Kale, no almonds, sub wildblueberries. I highly recommend! Read more
Worst experience ever. I was thrilled to find out I had a drive through smoothie king but I get there and they?re barely... listening to my order. The girl taking the order was arguing with me about the ingredients that were displayed in their menu. Ialways get the activator recovery coffee and she kept telling me that it didn?t have milk when I have been replacing the nonfatmilk for almond milk for months. Anyways they charged me for a medium when I asked for a small. They charged me for addingpeanut butter but then didn?t add it. The smoothie didn?t have the slightest taste of coffee. It was disgusting and tasted likewater and bananas only. I was running late otherwise I would?ve returned it and asked for a new one. It?s so bad u can?t evendrink it. The smoothies are delicious especially when cold. Only thing smoothie king needs is better delivery services. I'm not a fan of... door dash or Postmates etc I wish they had their own . Because of the smoothie needing to be icy your delicious smoothie is inthe hands of people who are not being paid well because of all the service and whatever fee. I waited until my break to have my smoothie delivered I?m not supposed to have sugar because I?m on keto diet so I got the... berry champ keto one and they gave me a the wrong smoothie, unfortunately I drank sips of it and that RUINED my whole diet!!!
