This is by far one of the best meals We ever had in Miami! Mind-blowing! Now I understand the Michelin Star!! Delicious,... exquisite, fresh, and innovative!!!Itamae is located in the Miami Design District's Palm Court and offers a combination ofPeruvian-Japanese food called Nikkei. We were promptly greeted and seated at a table outside, where we enjoyed the views of thelovely Design District Court. We ordered ceviche traditional, tiradito apaltado, pulpo al olivo, sancho roll, Kirby's dream landroll and lost in translation roll. Everything was incredible, The tiradito, the ceviche, and the octopus were unbelievablygood!! So fresh, with so much flavor! Spectacular!! The rolls were also amazing! Especially Sancho's role! But I would orderall of them in a flash again and again! So well prepared, perfectly well cook sushi rice, fresh ingredients and soflavorful! Our amazing waiter recommended that we should try the gremolata as dessert. Is guanabana ice with vanilla and whitechocolate cream with a little bit of olive oil. It's strange to have olive oil in a desert but it works! It's really good andvery refreshing, especially with the hot weather! We will certainly come back! Read more

Plates were delicious and outstandingly done. I didn't like that portions were too small for price though. The best plate was... the grilled/cooked lobster. I can also recommend to try the nigiris and oysters. Read more

Amazing menu and food! My girlfriend and I sampled the menu from start to finish and everything was impeccably executed. The... wine and apéritif selection is also top notch and features organic, biodynamic, and off the beaten path producers that pairsperfectly with the menu. The service was also as good as it gets. Chef Chang is a very nice and personable man who took the timeout to talk to us while we dined at the chef’s counter. His passion for his cooking truly shows. Itamae was worth the visit10x over! Foodies unite! This is your top tier dining experience in Miami. I’m from Orlando and took a food trip to MIA trying many of... the Michelin and James Beard awarded restaurants. By far, Itamae was the most exceptional, my favorite, and a must try for anyfoodie. The satisfaction of each item is 110%. This is a chef who has mastered his craft and is now pushing the envelope in newand exciting ways. He manages to create a sense of nostalgia and playfulness on his dishes. If you live in Miami or are visitingdefinitely make Itamae a stop. Read more

Fun mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. Tried the tiradito with blue fin tuna, ceviche with lobster and grouper and a warm... maki with scallops, avocado and Parmesan. The last one was the least tasty one, and the ceviche won. Great French white wine andservice. Love the location and court yard. Read more

The menu changes frequently but the food was great. We sampled most of the menu & had no regrets. We ordered the tuna sushi... twice! It was topped with tiny fried quinoa which gave it the right crunch and texture. The scallops were the perfect bite offood I ever tasted. Can't wait to comeback and try it all over again! Read more

I’m so thrilled to find this gem in Miami. The dishes we tried were each unique, interesting, one of a kind flavors. The... service was lovely and our server and management made us feel comfortable and right at home. This feels like one of those placesyou simply sit back and let the kitchen do its thing—everything we tried (wine included) was a hit. Read more
