When my friend recommended celebrating her birthday at El Tucán Miami, I was super exited to visit! Despite making reservations... for two about 3 weeks in advance, our 9pm reservation was pushed back to 10 pm 3 hours before we were scheduled to arrive. Whenwe finally arrived? the restaurant is breathtaking, very colorful and fun. We requested an upstairs table, but were satdownstairs. I informed the hostess about our request and we were moved quickly upstairs with no issue. The DJ played music thatmade you want to dance instead of eat. The performances seemed infrequent but when they did come out, they were all energeticand entertaining! I skipped the appetizers and ordered a medium done PRIME SKIRT STEAK with TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE, which Iloved and my main course was very filling. For a drink I ordered a PASSIONATA? it was delicious, light and fruity. Iltyan S wasa fantastic waiter!! They seem a bit disorganized when it comes to reservations and seating, but once you arrive the team isvery nice, the performances were SO FUN and the food is delicious. One of the best dinner and entertainment venues in Miami. Talented performers come out every so often and put on an amazing show... each and every time. The food was on another level. Came here for dinner on a Thursday night, from beginning to end the service was awesome! Staff was all very friendly and super... attentive. The drinks were delicious and the food was even better, they keep a tight schedule so I would recommend checking outthe menu prior to your arrival. Had dinner here last night to celebrate my cousins birthday! The ambiance is wonderful and food was good, however we weren?t... able to enjoy the night. We were placed in a corner where the show wasn?t visible. After asking about being placed at one of themany empty tables that had much better views, I was told they were reserved. We dined for more than a hour and those seatsremained vacant. We went out into the hall and took pics and came back to the bar and they were still vacant. We feltdiscriminated against in that aspect but our waiter was wonderful! Read more
What a great lounge/club! The food was a bit pricey but was excellent. It was well-prepared and very tasty. The ambiance was... outstanding! The lightening was perfect, and the whole place was decorated to make the customers feel like their in the CostaRican rain forest. The drinks were decent, and the entertainment was great! We saw a flame twirling dancer, a burlesque dancer,a spinning trapeze dancer, all sitting down while eating an excellent dinner. It was probably the best dining experience thatI?ve ever had in Miami. Just a phenomenal place overall that really puts a lot of effort into entertaining its customers. Read more

I came here for my birthday and everything was perfect. The atmosphere was amazing along with the dancers and food. My server... was sweet and very attentive. It?s upscale so you will spend $$$ but it?s totally worth it. I am definitely coming back. Read more
