When my friend recommended celebrating her birthday at El Tucán Miami, I was super exited to visit! Despite making reservations... for two about 3 weeks in advance, our 9pm reservation was pushed back to 10 pm 3 hours before we were scheduled to arrive. Whenwe finally arrived? the restaurant is breathtaking, very colorful and fun. We requested an upstairs table, but were satdownstairs. I informed the hostess about our request and we were moved quickly upstairs with no issue. The DJ played music thatmade you want to dance instead of eat. The performances seemed infrequent but when they did come out, they were all energeticand entertaining! I skipped the appetizers and ordered a medium done PRIME SKIRT STEAK with TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE, which Iloved and my main course was very filling. For a drink I ordered a PASSIONATA? it was delicious, light and fruity. Iltyan S wasa fantastic waiter!! They seem a bit disorganized when it comes to reservations and seating, but once you arrive the team isvery nice, the performances were SO FUN and the food is delicious. One of the best dinner and entertainment venues in Miami. Talented performers come out every so often and put on an amazing show... each and every time. The food was on another level. Came here for dinner on a Thursday night, from beginning to end the service was awesome! Staff was all very friendly and super... attentive. The drinks were delicious and the food was even better, they keep a tight schedule so I would recommend checking outthe menu prior to your arrival.
