Reviews for El Tambo Grill in Miami, FL
The food is good but that's it. Don't rely on their customer service to ensure all your food are in the bags and that they have... been properly package. They do not pay attention to detail. Read more

For Peruvians and people who have traveled to Lima, Peru, they must know how you can find a Rotisserie Chicken place almost... anywhere in Lima, like, it'd be a 5 minute walk from wherever you are, and if you want to remember the taste of a good peruvianrotisserie chicken, then El Tambo Grill is your choice. Located in the Sunset Dr. (72nd street) and 117th Avenue, this placeprepares one of the best (if not the best) Peruvian rotisserie chicken (in Spanish Pollo a la Brasa) in Miami. Eating in thisplace won't be a disappointment, a must go for everyone who loves Peruvian food, specially Pollo a la Brasa. Edit: it's been awhile since I visited El Tambo, 2 years since my last review, and the score remains the same for me. 5 stars, great menu, thepollo a la brasa still great, the size of the plates is amazing, and the price is good. Definitely one of the best Peruvianrestaurants of Miami, where you can actually eat Peruvian food. I've been in other places that said we're Peruvian restaurantsbut their food packed the Peruvian touch that would leave you satisfied, not El Tambo though, you'll definitely be satisfiedeating here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here. My family and I sent back two desserts we purchased but didn't consume because the taste was not... good (we are Peruvian). Besides that we purchased other dishes that we were pleased with and didn't send back. The managerYELLED AT US and told us to leave when we asked for reimbursement for the two desserts we didn't consume. The cahier asked us tostep aside, didnt listen to our concerns, and ignored us. I never felt so mistreated at a restaurant as I felt here. HORRIBLEhorrible customer service. This is an EMBARRASING representation of peruvian cuisine and hospitality. Read more
Overall good experience. I came for lunch and had the Cerviche Mixto which came with a drink. The Cerviche was good and I would... definitely come back again. The bar for Cerviche has been set very high in Miami so all challengers must be on their best game Read more
