Went to Chicken and the egg for breakfast, the staff was super nice and welcoming. I had an ice vanilla latte and a breakfast... bun with chorizo and egg (something matador? Forgot the name) and I absolutely loved it! Super flavoursome, very filling andjust really delicious. My partner had the fried chicken and waffle, the chicken was moist and tasty - although he said he wishedthe dish had a bit more seasoning and he found the waffle slightly dry even though he kept on adding maple syrup ???? wouldrecommend this place! Good food but I would not come back again. I waited for my table like everyone else but maybe because I sat alone the restaurant... felt i was taking the space and wanted to rush me out. I was asked twice before even finishing my food if I wanted a box. Mindyou I was only there long enough to order 2 drinks and my meal. Brunch is supposed to be stress free and that is not what I felthere. Also note as a single person I was still purchasing food and drinks as I was asked to get out of my table so they couldseat someone else. I have never been to an establishment that pushes out patrons who were still spending money. Over$100 to beexact. Never again will I give this business a dime. Read more
My friend and I was looking for a good brunch spot, and we found Chicken & the egg. Our server was Arthur. He greeted us moments... within being seated. He did some suggested selling as it was our first time being here. As a former server, Arthur is an amazingserver, he is very nice, super sweet and has really great customer service skills and just made the whole experience welcoming.Not to mention, food and drinks is amazing definitely give service and food 10 outta 10. && I?m usually someone that?s hard toimpress. We went here for brunch and were not disappointed! We got the chicken and waffles, tater tots, and the dirty south biscuit... sandwich. It was all really good, and you definitely get a lot of food for the price. Also Arthur was awesome and superattentive. Would definitely come back! Read more
Service was good. I ordered the chicken and waffle and the Bellini mimosa. The waffle was good but more like cake than a waffle.... The chicken was very hard, burnt and dry. Maybe try brining the chicken, helps it from drying out. Tried the loaded tater tots;they were good but a little on the salty side. I tried my daughters B.E.L.T sandwich, which I enjoyed the most! They did give mean order of turkey bacon to replace the chicken. Overall ok but not somewhere I?d eat at again. Presentation of the food wasgreat, just wish it would have tasted great for the price. Me and my wife came here for brunch, the food was very delicious. The waiters looked like they were over whelmed. I had fresh... orange juice which was very fresh, my wife had a mimosa. Awesome place to grab breakfast. Cool atmosphere - the neon fried egg sign is so great. The staff was super friendly. Hooked my... kiddo up with a coloring page and a small bucket of crayons (much better than the typical three at many restaurants). I orderedthe B.E.L.T. which did not disappoint - very tasty and just the right size. We ordered tots to share and I wish I had ordered myown, because they were so good. Seriously, order the tots. I doubt I find myself in Miami again, but if I do, I?ll visit Chickenand The Egg. Read more
