I was rudely attended by a waitress and its manager on m order. I placed my order via the takeout menu on the cash register,... never have any waitress making a take-out are given the dine in menu. I mentioned to the waitress it was a cash order and fromthe special list of the day. Regardless of cash or credit card, they charge you credit card usage to which you have to mentionit, so the "manager" removes it. I was charged $12.59 vs $11.99. When I got back a cent from $14.00, I called the manager, and Iexplained the error and she flat out didn't want to do a thing. I told both the waitress and manager what the price and changeshould be, and the waitress flat out told me not her problem the price on the menu at the register was wrong to deal with it.I've been going to this restaurant 5 blocks from home and in the previous times I've gone (every weekend), I never had thisproblem till 06/26/2022 @ 3:30 PM EST. I thought I had found a gold mine being so close to home but in reality, the way themanager and waitress handled this I will never go to this place again, they lost a good customer and won't refer anyone ever. If you ever want to eat old food that's been reheated, this is the place to go. Also did not pay attention to the order details.... I specifically said no red sauce and as you can see they went extra on the sauce. I am not exaggerating when I tell you thatchicken is atheist 2 days old and the thinnest chicken breast I have ever seen. The worst $26 I've ever spent. Mind you this wasfor lunch time so no excuses to be serving this quality of food this early. Read more
Definitely a must stop if in the area. No one there spoke English but they tried very hard. Food was amazing! Best Cuban... sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I don’t know the name of the shrimp dish I got but it was amazing too! (Photos attached)It hadplantains, chorizo, peppers, onions, and pork skins. You spoon the mix into a soup and it was just so darn good and filling. Anddon’t forget to get a hand made milkshake. FYI they charge you for refills. Read more
Amazing service & food . My girlfriend and I we flew to Miami and we were looking for breakfast spot and we found Caribe . It... was close to our hotel Doubletree by Hilton like 10 minutes walking .Very good customer service they welcomed us and we orderedthe food , food did not take a long time to be ready . As you can see from the pics all this beautiful delicious food . Weenjoyed our time there we are coming back Sunday morning for another breakfast. After years if dinning at caribe Cafe, im sad to say the quality doesn’t match the price increase. I just got my $10... croquette sandwich. It was the saddest sandwich Caribe has ever delivered. So, I spoke to Henry(manager) to ask what happenedto the old style of stacking the ham and crocketas . His response: “I made it myself so I know that its always been this wayand that he made correctly. “ The truth is, ever since they move from the 72ave Flagler St to their new location in 82ave, thenew owners have not been able to duplicate the great quality and ambience Caribe Cafe was famous for.
