Came here based on rave reviews on an expensive surge uber ride from Miami Beach and left thoroughly disappointed. This is the... first time google reviews and wynwood have disappointed me. The place was not crowded on Saturday around 8:30pm - should havebeen a clue - and they did not have a working bathroom - don?t people want to wash hands before eating tacos with theirhands??!! But whatever, I stayed strong and waited for our order since I came here mainly to eat supposedly amazing tacos,right? Our order of 2 lechons ($5 each, a decent amount of dry stringy pork on a cold tortilla), 1 steak ($8 each, good but notenough of the steak on a cold tortilla), and 1 octopus ($8 each, cold octopus on a cold tortilla) was not only disappointing interms of quality but also quantity. They definitely did not taste fresh nor authentic and we both left hungry and unsatisfied. Miami must not have good tacos. I can find better tacos in NYC for cheaper even in Manhattan not just in the outer boroughs anddidn?t need these when I am on vacation in Miami. Again, I?m no expert on tacos but this experience made me want to go eattacos in LA - life is too short for these tacos. I?m sorry for this scathing review but I need to be honest. A hole in the wall! Small little place , it?s actually a food truck stationed with lot of comfy seating. The food was so good!... Ordered yuca chips, mahi mahi tacos and shrimp tacos were to the point! Also had a spanish flan for dessert. It was pretty good.Recommend this place if you are exploring Wynwood. Read more
Holy cow! We stumbled on this gem while making our way to the nearby Midtown Garden Center and it was totally a treat! Homemade... empanadas and a nice, diverse menu of big, fresh tacos (I highly recommend the Tuna Poke taco!). They have fun fizzynon-alcoholic beverages and lovely seating areas for parties of various sizes. They also have a small, off-street parking area.On the fringes of Wynwood, it?s a nice and tasty oasis! Read more
Cool place to hang and eat. However the price for the tacos are real steep. $6 to $8 bucks gets u 1. Now I'm all for paying for... amazing food but this was a little above okay. I had the octopus and steak. Nothing to write home about. Or definitely not toorder again. I asked for an additional shell to split it into two but the steak was mostly tomatoes. Eat here. Some of the tastiest food in Miami. They started from a food truck and are now expanding. The staff are friendly and... the place moves from relaxed during the day to lively at night. If you think the prices are a little higher than the averagetaco place, then consider that you?re getting twice as much food. It?s actually good value. My only suggestion, they could dowith a better selection of beer. Plenty of local craft brewers to choose from. Read more
