My wife and stopped in at the BBQ&Craft Company for dinner. I’m so happy that I decided to eat dinner here. Elgyn, our waiter... greeted us with a big smile and seated us at a nice booth. I started with a good local craft beer. Both my wife and I orderedthe Miami Spice Combo, 3 meats, a starter and a side with choice of dessert. Highly recommended. I ordered the wedge bluecheese, cherry tomato salad to start. I’m not much of a salad guy but let me say, this was the best salad I’m eaten in thelast 10 years. I absolutely loved it. For the main course I ordered ribs, brisket and the pork belly. Elgyn brought us a boxwith 6 different options for sauces. The ribs were tender and tasty, I used the hot spicy BBQ sauce. The pork belly wasextremely good. Not many places offer pork belly. It was cooked to perfection with a kind of sweet BBQ sauce. I am a fan ofbrisket, and this was one of the best, most tender, juicy pieces of brisket I have ever eaten. The owner, Anthony stopped by outtable to ask how we were enjoying the food. He was very personable and super informative about his plans to franchise thischain. I enjoyed meeting him and had a shot of maple whiskey with him. For dessert I ordered the guava flan, also excellent,reminded me of Hawaii. All in all one of the very best dinners I have ever had. I can’t say enough good things about ourdinner experience. Great food, an upscale, super clean environment and fantastic service. I left Elgyn a 25% tip because heearned every penny of it. Anthony was a pleasure to talk with. I'd give around 3.5 stars for the spare ribs. I had full rack of spare ribs for dine in. In my opinion, the overall execution is... perfect - all you want in BBQ ribs - fall of the bone, membrane removed. Ribs looks beautiful but that's the extent of it. Tasteis its downfall. The meat tasted like nothing, which is very sad. It relies heavily on the sauces. Even if you add the sauce,once the taste of the sauce passes, you'd again taste the "empty" rib meat. I'm from Texas and I make great smoked meals 3 to 4 times a week. When I first stepped into the place..I was welcomed with... good old Southern Hospitality and Great service. Had a few hours to kill between our cruise and flight home to Atlanta. Saw this place from the road and came on in. First-the... service was outstanding and we got to meet Anthony, the owner. With us being from Georgia, we know a thing or two about Bar beCue, so we had a chance to chat with Anthony about where he started and honed his craft. Super cool guy! Let me tell you…thisplace is outstanding! I got the two meat plate w/ brisket and chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy! Thebrisket was as tender with juices flowing off the plate, literally! Greens tasted just like they do at home. And the sweet teawas fantastic! If I could give more stars I would!!! This place was unbelievably delicious! I’ve been searching for a BBQ place worth my time and this is definitely the spot. The... food is exceptional. Let’s start off with the basics, the Food and services were an absolute 5/5. We came out to BBQ Craft to celebrate my dads... birthday and the food was out of this world delicious. Please get the Dinosaur Beef Rib before it sells out, it’s one of thebest dishes I’ve ever had. The fried pickles were also phenomenal. I can’t express how grateful I am to the people who makethat restaurant great. Jonathan ( our waiter) is highly recommended as he very attentive and gave some great recommendations. The GM Christian and the owner Anthony helped make the experience better with their kindness and hospitality. We left withsmiles and full belly’s. This food was ON POINT!!! I walked up and asked if they had non-meat entrees because I only eat fish. The server told me... sometimes they have a shrimp dish and that she would ask the chef if he could make it for me. And that, my friends, is when themagic began! They brought that shrimp out and I was in heaven! A sweet but spicy sauce with corn bits sat on the plate with 6pieces of shrimp. I bit into that shrimp and was transported to a place of food ecstasy! Dipped my cornbread into the sauce andplain ol’ cornbread became jazzy magnificent cornbread! Great service too. What great barbecue! The smoked wings were so awesome as well as the pulled pork sandwich. A true surprise having great barbecue... and a tasty brew in Brickell. John was behind the bar and was super nice and took great care of me. I’ll be back! Read more
