We stumbled on this restaurant and so happy we did. The interior is so well done and beautiful, old charm with a modern vibe.... The server was friendly and knowledgable. The food was to die for. We started off with the nachos (plantain chips with oxtailand sauce) which were phenomenal and oh so good. I had the shrimp jambalaya and the seasoning was on point. My son had theKorean Chicken and he loved it, btw he is a picky eater. Read more

Hidden gem! Fusion cuisine with a dedicated staff (the server and the chef go above and beyond). The food was great because it... is obvious that they are passionate above providing excelente service, and to serve quality food. The fried rice wasincredible! Our appetizer was the highlight of our meal. Please try the malanga tots! I even ordered an extra one to go. Thankyou Leo for being such a gracious host. We will come back. Read more

The food, drinks, and service are amazing here! I second everyone?s sentiments stating that Amelia?s is a hidden gem. What makes... it even better is the service; Leo is the BEST. We?ve been coming here over 2 years and come back just for him. He?s the bestand makes the experience wonderful. He?s so knowledgeable and on point! He also makes the best Cuban coffee! We love coming hereand highly recommend this place! The Cuban nachos with the oxtail and grouper with Korean fried rice are always delicious andfresh. Please make sure you go when Leo is working for the top notch experience! Read more

What a pleasant surprise ! After walking in the store front , you are taken back to a 1960's style quaint cafe atmosphere. The... menu , although short and simple , is packed with tantalizing appetizers and flavorful meals. We found it difficult to decideso we chose to nibble and share several of their options including the crispy pork rind coated Mozzarella sticks , stuffedsteamed buns , Korean glazed pork belly and Malanga tots topped with Vaca frita . We truly enjoyed the entire experience. Weare looking forward to returning and tasting ALL the other plates we did not yet try. Read more

Amelia?s is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Miami. It?s small inside but that?s a good thing. Makes the whole place... feel private and almost like your favorite, secret spot completely tucked away. Truly a hidden gem. Inside, it?s well decoratedand service is always exceptional. The Cuban nachos and malanga tots are the best way to start any meal! Read more

This place easily became one of my favorite restaurants! To start off with, the service is amazing and the attention to detail... is outstanding. We had Leo as our server, he was so kind and informative. The food is absolutely delicious, it had me dancingand it comes in good portions. Leo recommended the ?Malanga Tots? as appetizer and we were in awe of how delicious it was. Ourentrees were wonderful and put together great. Also, the ?Timba? dessert was above and beyond. The prices are just a littlesteep but I think it?s totally worth it. The place itself is really snazzy and comfy. The theme is super cool too. Will becoming back and inviting more people! Read more

Very limited menu that is very pricy. The food was good although I did notice it was not fresh as I sat right in front of the... kitchen and saw everything, for instance the bao buns were microwaved which was really disappointing considering the price. AlsoBEWARE the waiter will offer the "daily special" and before you know you are paying $25 for mini potatoes, cut up bell pepperand steak. (for more follow @exploringthecity_ on Instagram) Read more
