Fabulous quality fish, amazing taste and very fresh. Very personal service as it's a small space so the guy behind the counter... serves you personally and gives you each roll as it's ready. You'll want more and more rolls! Read more

Let me tell you about this little sushi counter tucked away with the most bomb Korean sushi master in Little Havana Calle Ocho.... A place that only sits about 8 and BYOB. A truly hidden gem with each piece beautifully cut. They source the freshest Japanesefish which makes each piece taste and melt like butter. Not only is this unassuming sushi counter a top on my list but, it'sgreat watching all the craziness walk by while you're eating little delicate pieces. If you're into no frills dining in Miami, you need to put this on your list! Read more

This was by far one of my favorite meals I've ever had. Chef Brian was very kind and had served great, carefully crafted dishes.... As other reviews have mentioned, its a small place and I'd definitely recommend a reservation. Not only was the food amazing (alittle pricey but well worth it in my opinion), but it was awesome to eat in such a fun, intimate setting. The fish was veryfresh and I was able to try new varieties as well as have familiar fish prepared in a whole new way. Thanks Chef Brian!! Read more

Had the Omakase experience. Brian and his assistant Focus (might be different spelling) provide mouthwatering after... mouthwatering selections that were unforgettable. The thin sliced tuna toro with uni and the torched scallops and the Spanishmackerel were highlights in a meal that had no low lights. Thank you Brian and Focus, can’t wait to come back. Read more

We have been to Ahi Sushi 3 times in the last 2 months, twice for omakase and once a la carte. The omakase sessions were... superb, with a mix of standard and creative dishes, well prepared and nicely plated, and all of the fish was of excellentquality. At $80/pp for 9 to 10 courses it's not cheap, but is good value, and we eat a lot of Japanese food and I canconfidently say you won't find better for less in Miami. The a la carte menu is very basic, so if there's something specificyou want, you should ask for it. The chef will happily take requests off-menu if he has the ingredients on hand, and if hedoesn't, will suggest an alternative. If just want basic rolls you can get them cheaper elsewhere, although they probably won'tbe quite as good. The place is tiny, with 6 seats and 2 more in a pinch. There is one chef and one host/server who have beenthe same each time we visited. They are personable and good at taking cues, so if you want to eat in silence you can, or viceversa. Lastly, they are BYOB with no corkage fee and it sounds like there are no plans to get a liquor license. We like thatbecause we're happy to bring our own and save the money, but if you forget there are a few different wine/beer/liquor storesnearby on Calle Ocho. Read more
