This is the ONLY Starbucks I've been too (and I've been to 100s across the country) that absolutely will not add the extra... caramel sauce that I ask for in my Frappe. Since they've been open, they cannot understand that when I say extra extra caramel,it means more than a little dollop around the cup. I've had other stores tell me "when you place your order, for the extra extracaramel you're seeking, tell the employee to "line the cup" and they'll understand what you want!" OK. Noted! So, I've tried toconvey THAT to the employees at the Mexia location. And every time, they tell me at the register "ok sure! Got it!" Then it getsdown the line to the actual person making it- and they read the sticky label with directions- get everything else right aboutthe drink- but they will not add ANY extra caramel. This week, same scenario. Except this time- the gal told me I had to speakto the Mgr about getting extra caramel. She finally came over, asked what the problem was, and proceeded to tell me the amountshe gave me was the "Starbucks standard". So I politely asked if she knew what the term "line the cup" meant bc that's whatother stores had told me to ask for.. and she just argued that a little swirly swirl was their company standard(funny..othercompany stores do not seem to have this standard). I said ok- but if I pay you EXTRA $ for EXTRA caramel...... can you not giveme extra?! I have had ONE store in the past tell me extra was extra $. And I had zero problems with that! And the Mgr says"nope. I can't do that either. We measure our inventory with the 3 swirl standard. If I gave you extra it would throw myinventory off". Her EXACT words! I have NEVER in my life been to any store as a paying customer, and been told "no- you can'tbuy extra"???? I've given grace to this store/employees alllllll year long bc they are a new store.. Paying $7 for a subparfrappe that they never even seem to WANT to try & get right. I even started going INTO the store instead of t Read more

The lead was rude to customers. I ordered a venti got a grande, asked for hot got iced. The red head was the only one that had... any idea what she was doing and she was nice. The rest of the staff would not even make eye contact. Tip. Starbucks staff isusually really friendly. Not here. Read more

A delightful pause along a less travelled path between Houston and Dallas. The store was clean, well maintained as was the... restroom. The staff was courteous, responsive and engaging. My beverage - as expected from Starbucks. Read more

Standard Starbucks Service - but the coffee for me 3 times now consistently made the same and not very good at all. I am... definitely used to a different taste to my upside down hot mochas, I am just going to assume this is just not a great specialtyto make for this particular store. Wonderful service - Horrible Coffee ?? Read more

I am so thrilled to have my favorite coffee chain setup in my hometown. As a veteran from this small town I have been around the... world and Starbucks has been a reliable refuge no matter where I am. I received gift cards for Christmas, best idea ever! LOL. The baristas always make my favorite drinks just the way I like them. Thank you! Read more

I love the sort of 60s interior and I'm a bit biased since I work here but I really like all my coworkers and the people that... come into the store. It's also nice to finally have a Starbucks I can go to regularly. I'm new to the area so it's great to feellike a part of the community. So far this has been my favourite job I've had ???? Read more

I have been so excited for our little town to open a Starbucks BUT to my disappointment they close at 9pm. I'm sure there are a... lot of people that enjoy there coffee in the morning but there is a lot of us that work nights and would love to indulge in someamazing Starbucks at night on our shift. As I pulled into Starbucks tonight at 9:40pm there was 2 other cars leaving headed towork. When I arrived at work all everyone could talk about was how disappointed they was about Starbucks closing at 9pm andthere for leaving us out of being able to enjoy there amazing coffee. I am not saying they should have Whataburger hour but itwould be nice to fill like they took all of us into consideration before closing at 9pm when a lot of people don't live or comeinto town before 9:30pm. There for I am giving them 3 stars and that is ONLY for there amazing coffee that I hope one day to getto enjoy here in Mexia. Read more
