The 1st time we ate here it was amazing. Amazing food, service, etc. This time it was just okay. We came in at a non busy time,... stood at the hostess station for 10 min waiting to be seated. Then once we ordered we never got bread, stayed needing refills,the food was just okay. My steak tips were very rare when I asked for med well. They never replaced them. The potatoes were verydry. We probably won't be going back. Especially for the price ... the restaurant is so pretty, but the service was not. . . Read more
The restaurant is nice and clean . I like the pizza the chicken alfredo needs more flavor. the service is good the problem here... is how they cook the meet. It's not fully cooked when they bring it to the table. It continues to cook at the table. This makesa cloud of smoke throughout the restaurant that makes it very unpleasant and impossible to eat the meal. Read more
Great small town food for those who prefer homestyle meals over fancy overpriced food you find in big cities. Slightly slow,... but worth it for large portions and fair prices. Read more
Great experience if you haven't done the black rock before. One of the rocks didn't seem hot enough to cook the seafood so we... used the steak one. Steak was awesome. Service was above average. Read more
Was very excited to try this place out but underwhelmed by the entire experience - the service for take out was perfect I will... start with that. We walked in ordered and were gone in less than 25 - the pricing wasn't shabby, about $30 with a tip for a lotof food. - the beef tips with potatoes - potatoes were very good, but the steak was rather bland with no seasoning. - theBuffalo mac and cheese was apparently a new menu item and while the chicken is delicious in the mac and cheese, the mac andcheese was disappointing. I didn't love how soupy it was. Overall good experience and would try again regardless of the issues. Read more
I really enjoyed dining here. The interior is decorated pretty interestingly, lots of wood planks on the walls. I tried the... pizza rolls and spin dip off the appetizer menu both were yummy, the crustinis with the dip are some how crunchy and soft! I'deat them plain. From the entree selections I tried the pizza, brick oven and perfect ????. The mushroom sandwich, they useseveral sliced shrooms versus one large cap, it's enough for two people and the roast beef sandwich has maybe more than a poundof meat! I'm not sure how they turn a profit on that beast, but it's delicious. They also offer a black stone you can order aprotein and cook at your table with it. Looked really fun! First time here. From out of town. Arrived for lunch there was no other customers. No other customers till 1pm. Got the stuffed... mushroom appetizer. It was luke warm. Still tasted decent but would have been better if it was hot. My daughter got thepepperoni pizza and fries, she said they were good gave it a 9/10. I got the Italian sandwich, it was good, it would have beenbetter if the dressing was better quality. My husband got the Cajun pasta. It definitely didn't look like any Cajun pasta he hashad before. It was good. The tomatoes in it gave it a different texture, but the alfredo base was good. Had the cannolis theywere the best! Could have done with it the extra chocolate sauce on top but still so good! I would go there again to try otherthings, I would recommend it to others. Read more
We went here today because I had been there before on our way home from Tennessee and loved it. Was set on going... again. Although the food was fine today, the biggest disappointment was the wine menu on our table. As you can see our wine was$20 on the wine list, but on the receipt it came out $28. I called it to the waitresses attention and she?s shocked (I can?tbelieve I?m the first to have this happen) and she takes it back because I didn?t agree to pay $28, I agreed to $20. She comesback and tells me she is sorry but she can?t change the price. I told her that?s not right, so she takes off the $6 kids meal inexchange for the mistake. They still got $2 extra from me which was better than $8. This was going to be one of our stops toand from Illinois to Tennessee that we travel OFTEN, but not now. I could have asked for a manager and pushed the issue, but weare heading home and it just wasn?t worth it. Watch your receipts folks.
