These pies are classic, offering a taste of old-time American comfort food at its best. I can remember being a little kid... growing up in Wakefield and frequently eating in at the Reading MA location. I don?t understand all the love for this place. Convenient yes. Decent prices yes. Honestly the pies a super bland. Not trying... to be mean but really. Use some seasoning. Salt and pepper would be a start. If I ate it with my eyes closed I would have noidea what I was eating. Same goes for the apple pie. It?s disappointing that simple things cant be corrected.
