Always nice to find a spot that has vegetarian, vegan and/or pescatarian options! What makes it a 5 star for me is the fact that... everything here is delicious, definitely more of that Nola home-cooked food taste and the gumbo isn?t a tomato base. The Store?s new location in Metairie is a must-eat for lunch. I love both the hot roast beef sandwich and the Reuben with a side... of slaw. Yummy yummy in my tummy. Their roast beef sandwich is exactly how I remember the po-boy shops of my childhood used tofix it. Read more
Nice little corner place to get in and out! Stopped by for breakfast. The best thing was hands down the grits. Everything else... was bland. Eggs and bacon were very plain could have had something comparable just from a hotel breakfast. Toast was barelytoasted. Kind of disappointed to be honest. Read more
Lunch here is fantastic. However, I would not recommend ordering breakfast here, at least not to-go. Every time I have done so I... was the only person in the restaurant yet still had to wait 15-20 minutes for one item - an egg and cheese sandwhich. What wasmore disappointing was my last visit. I ordered a egg and cheese breakfast burrito, simply with tomato added. Again, I was theonly person present. I waited 15 minuted for my to-go burrito, whilst a customer that came in 10 minutes after me received hisorder right after I got mine. I sat to eat my burrito only to realize a serious lack of cheese and an overabundance of cold,large-chunk tomato slopped on top, not cooked in like an actual ingredient. Needless to say, I was less than satisfied. Order through Uber Eats and this place did not disappoint! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and tomato basil soup. The... chicken on the sandwich was fried perfectly. It had a nice thick slice of smoked Gouda, Crystal Mayo, lettuce, tomato andpickles on a soft brioche bun. It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I?ve had!
