Absolutely disgusting food. We ordered naan, butter planner and aloo gobhi. Aloo gobhi was mushy and horrible. Paneer was just... sugary sweet and naan was inedible because it was so thick and uncooked. Being an Indian, I can say from utmost confidence thatthis is not Indian food. We had to throw away everything because that?s how inedible all of it was. Read more

We stopped in for lunch. The manager promptly greeted us and told us a bit about the menu. We then ordered vegetarian Chana... masala/ aloo chole and paneer tikka masala. Both were very good. The tikka masala was quite flavorful and adequately spicy. The aloo was hearty. Each dish came with a choice of rice or naan. The naan was very fresh with great texture. Overall, thefood was great and the service was very friendly. Read more

Clean place with warm and delicious food. Good flavor, decent prices, and amazing service. Our server, Amen, was the only one... working that night, memorized our order and served it in a timely manner, plus he fulfilled all our requests during the meal. Hewas very friendly and my husband and him got to talking. He mentioned he's a local student and was stressed that he had schoolin the morning. Dude definitely deserves a raise in my book ???? I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit this great place twice within a few months. In fact, I wanted to go back there... after my first visit in April last year. Wonderful people, amazing foods! Read more

I can't state with words how good Shyan's is. First of all, it's for sure the best Indian/Pakistani food in NOLA. The cheese... naan and paratha's weren't just good, they were great. They had an extra level of flavor that I haven't found anywhere else sofar. The Chicken Tikka Masala had depths of flavor that any connoisseur of Indian/Pakistani cuisine knows is of the highestlevel. The Goat Karahi was spicy and hit in all the right areas. I couldn't choose a favorite between the two gravy's but theywere both remarkably tasty. The service was beyond good. Very kind and welcoming and it's a comfortable little spot to have afantastic dinner. Read more

I?ve tried a few things on the menu and the quality is always great. All the staff are very nice and accommodating. My only... complaint is the wait time. I?ve been told 15-20 minutes most instances, but it typically takes closer to 40. Read more

Friendly staff and exceptional food. The portions are more than enough. Wonderful atmosphere as well. It's rare for us to find... food spicy enough for us and this hit the mark. You can ask for it mild, medium, or spicy. My boyfriend frequents this spot andsays it's his favorite place in the area. We'll most certainly be back. Read more
