Tried kebob house, seemed to be a popular location. The staff was quick and very friendly. They wipe down tables and chairs ????... right as a customer leaves. They bring you a free refill of pita ???? when you're out. The food was great and filling. Make sureto get the grape leaf ???? ???? appetizer. Prices are ok, a little expensive. The soda ???????????? machine was out of ice andit was never refilled. Read more
I got the shrimp plate, and the shrimp was seasoned better than pretty much any shrimp you could get at your ?classic? New... Orleans restaurant. The menu is fun, and the atmosphere is bright and cheery. Really smooth hummus and delicious rice. I don?tgo to Metairie often, but I know I?ll be back next time I?m in the area! Read more

Always a nice and welcoming experience here. Very nice staff, delicious food, and decent prices. If you haven?t tried them, then... I definitely recommend. Got the chicken shawarma wrap with fresh fries. Then they recommended a freshly baked dessert and I?m soglad we gave it a try because I fell in love with it, but I still can?t pronounce the name so I hope this picture helps. I justwish they had more parking space or a bigger restaurant because they get a good lunch rush..but JJs next door does too.???????? Read more
Who goes to Nola and think's "Can't wait to try the Mediterranean food!"? Well neither did I, but I will from now on. The... Kabob House in Metairie has an incredible assortment of different drinks, foods, and desserts if you need a little change ofpace from fried oysters and gumbo. What is seriously more impressive is that the food here was just as good as any I've had inNYC. New Orleans is a food town, but I had no idea this style of food was something I could find here with such quality. Forthe drinks I tried a soda that I had never heard of called "Vimto" that had black currants and other varieties of fruit withHibiscus. I couldn't drink this all the time because it was very sweet, but it was excellent. The gentleman working theregister also talked me into trying a yogurt drink. The best way for me to describe this is it was almost like liquid cottagecheese. The texture wasn't off-putting at all but I think this is one of those cultural things that you appreciate more if yougrew up on it. The Falafel was very good. Brown fried crust opens to bright green inside and the flavor was totally on point. These were maybe $1 or less a piece and totally worth it. Also came with a tasty dipping sauce but they're plenty good on theirown. The Chicken Shawarma over salad was really solid also. Nice crispy pieces from the outside of the spit but also stillvery tender and flavorful. The Kofta Kabob was seasoned perfectly and was gone before I could even take a picture of it! I amusually not even a huge kofta fan but this was excellent. The Beef Shawarma however was the best dish here, and it wasn't evenclose. The flavor and texture were as good or better than any I've ever had. Some pieces were more cooked than others andhonestly, I'm not even sure which ones I preferred. This was served over hummus and that was also very good. Smooth and notgrainy at all with excellent flavor all blended together. Goes without saying but i'll say it anyway, Th Read more
I had the the gyro combination plate, came with salad, rice, hummus and a side of pita bread. Coming inside I noticed a very... clean and sleek look. My order didn?t take long and the food was hot.I definitely forgot to take a picture before taking a bite,it was delicious!! They have several bottle beverage options and also carry fountain drinks. The bathroom was also clean and upto date but no baby changing table. The staff was friendly and kind. Read more
