First time trying Gus's, I know it's not the original location or anything, but I thought it was great. Yummy flavor and fried... perfectly. Really juicy chicken ???????????????? The menu is a little overwhelming, if you can I would have someone order darkand someone order white so you can get the best of both worlds. The portions are huge! I think that this Gus?s Chicken location needs time to figure things out. I?ve eaten at other locations in Mississippi and... Tennessee and this was by far the least tasty. The chicken was very bland and borderline over-cooked. However, the fried pickleswere surprisingly delicious and the portion size was big. Worth noting, we had good service and I liked the dining area.Hopefully Gus?s can get their act together because I would love to give them another try. Read more

6.1.22 1 PM My wife and I got to Gus's and ordered the daily special, which was 4 pieces and two sides. We just had water to... drink. The chicken took about 35 minutes to come to the table after ordering, which I thought was a little long, but it wasfresh. We also ordered some fried okra. That was also freshly prepared and quite good. The chicken was crisp, not overly breadedand perfectly done. This is a new location for this regional chain. Chose to dine in for lunch and the staff was attentive and nice. They had some... lunch specials and I chose one those and substituted the slaw for Mac and cheese. Another great choice for a quick lunch ordinner in the area around the mall. Read more

The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. The mac n cheese is good very creamy. The staff is still improving, however there was a... manager named Dreka who was very nice and welcoming. We had a server named Anthony who made sure that we were well taken careof I loved his hospitality. He definitely brightened up the restaurant because the other workers do not seem as though theywanted to be there. I was very happy we got him as our server.
