Hubby and I have been here several times and they've been pretty consistent. The catfish is my fav and hubby tried the cheese... burger. I noticed a price increase since our last visit and my fish fillets were a bit smaller, but still good on occasion. This place needs to work on their housekeeping and they have a sofa sectional in there, which seems out of place. I suggest youorder your food to go. Read more
A small local place with great fried catfish. Breading was perfect - not greasy, just right. Well worth a stop!
They definitely slipping with the grilled chicken salad. Normally all the food is diced very nice and fine . I never had a... grilled chicken salad with big chucks of chicken and tomatoes and lettuce. Back to south Dallas and John west I go for that.They normally was running in competition with the hot spots with the salad. but they are slipping now. Service was bad by the lady. Asked for hot sauce and said they ran out; meanwhile there was a lot at the tables, we had to ask... for a to go mini cup. First off you?re supposed to offer that. Second, I found a dead bug in my food. Cleanliness is not up topar. No actual profesional service or clothing. What I hate most is bugs. Service 0 food maybe good but service have to match.. so I tried to substitute small salad instead of ???? fries get this fries... are $3.99 small salad is 2.99..clerk tells me there is a 1.00 charge when the small salad is a dollar less than fries. They saidthere would dollar more if I did so help me on this.. I choose something that's a lesser value so so how is it u charge me a$1.00 more of . Something that's of a lesser value and then I ordered 3 fillets you give me one tartar sauce for three fish soI ask how much is 2 more tartar sauce $0.50 a piece how is it that you buy three fish it supposed to eat three fish with onetartar sauce and now charged me $0.50 for Each tartar sauce I asked for you got three should be three tarts for three fishthanks. My husband raves on their catfish and says it has good seasoning and flavor, he has visited them multiple times already. I... ordered the 12 piece wings with garlic, lemon, and BBQ flavors. They were flavorful and had plenty of seasoning, I don't like mywings too drenched in sauce or caked with seasoning but they were very good. I would come back to try their other dishes!!
