My wife and I stopped in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on our way to visit California. We made reservations at the Double Eagle... because the restaurant has a history of being haunted (The restaurant was featured on Ghost Adventures). We came to therestaurant with friends and had a few drinks at the bar before dinner. Great environment to just relax and chill. The historyof this town is amazing. Naomi was our server and Naomi was outstanding. Naomi gave us the history of the restaurant and told usthe tragic event which occurred in the dinning area where we were eating. The ghost never made their appearance while I waseating my awesome steak so it was all good for me. You can haunt the place all you want. Just don't mess with me while I'meating my juicy, tender, filet mignon. The steak just melted in my mouth and I truly forgot about the room being haunted. Avery tragic story. May those two young souls rest in peace. You definitely have to try this restaurant out. The dinningexperience was excellent and the service was top notch. Thank you Naomi for a great dining experience. Definitely try thisrestaurant out when you're in New Mexico. Ask for Naomi. Naomi knows the history of the restaurant and she will gladly share thestory with you and your family. There are several great shops located in the area around the Double Eagle. Definitely a placeyou and your family should visit. Read more

A colonial time machine in good eats. You step into character as your appetite begins to salivate in vintage kennel cooking. The... ambiance serves a full menu of creative southwestern infused dishes. From the local pride of the hatch green chili to sweetenbanana enchiladas for dessert, the double eagle won its flip on both sides of the coin here! Dine at dusk , feel like the kidcoming home to the dinner bell ????. Read more

We came in tonight on a whim and don?t regret it. ???? We sat at the bar at first tonight (10/12/2021) and the 2 bartender... ladies were AMAZING! Great drinks and they had plenty of info on the restaurant. I heard it was ?haunted? and I had been wantingto visit here for a while now? and they had all the spooky stories! ?? It?s exactly what made us decide to grab a table and dinein and continue our evening, as well as the delicious looking menu! We got a table and our server Stephanie was FABULOUS! Greatfood, service and atmosphere. Other servers who weren?t even our were gracious and caught me taking photos (aka: Ghost hunting, lol) and told me more stories about the history and were super kind. The food was awesome, but the SERVICE and STAFF is whatmakes this my new fav restaurant and wanting to return here! 10/10 would recommend and I was so happy with my entire experiencehere! Read more
