We grabbed lunch here on the way through town on our way home from northern MI. The service was good and our waitress was... attentive. Our family ordered the brisket dinner, brisket sandwich, and kid's mac and cheese. Both brisket entrées were SOtough and chewy that it was like eating rubber tires. It was really stringy and had no flavor. We tried to remedy the meat byadding the sauces on the table but we didn't care for those either as we prefer thicker style sauces. My husband didn't finishhis brisket because it was so difficult to eat. The mac and cheese was decent. My daughter didn't particularly like the recipebecause it used bread crumbs but others may enjoy that style. Eat here with some precaution. Read more
Great place..I stopped in today with my grandson. He ordered a hotdog.. it came out on a homemade bun, with homemade fries. I... order a Caesar salad with beef tips. Salad was well dressed and the beef tips were delicious. Well seasoned and perfect mediumrare. Can't wait to return. Read more
Do NOT judge a book by its cover! This little place has an unassuming exterior, but the food and service are great. We stopped... here coming home from Traverse City after the Bayshore Marathon, starving. They had a gluten-free menu for my friend who isgluten-sensitive and the best homemade potato chips I have ever had. Good service, great food. I had an incredibly fresh Caesarsalad and their pretzel bites, which were perfect. We will definitely be back! Read more
