Very authentic. German decor and atmosphere with a lovely background of live accordion music. They seemed short-staffed;... however, our server was amazing. The food was good as was the beer. Would recommend for pork and beef lovers. Read more

AMAZING. Best date night my wife and I have been on in ages. I studied abroad in Austria back in college and I've been to... Germany a few times; it was so fun to be somewhere with German food again. On Friday night there was an accordion player and theBEST atmosphere ever. It's so cozy and over-the-top German inside, and the food was to die for. The Leberkäse and potatodumplings were perfection, the beer was perfect too. W we drove 30 minutes for this and we'll be back for sure! Read more

What a great restaurant. This had some of the best we have ever had from a restaurant. It is a very quaint place. Service was a... little slow, but I think they said they had a new cook trying his best to learn the dishes. Still outstanding tasty dinner. Willfor sure go back. I would suggest that on Friday get there as soon as they open, because they had a wait an hour after they hadopened. Also very reasonable prices too. Read more

I came here on a recommendation and it was quite good. I had the Jager Schnitzel with mushroom gravy, red cabbage, and German... potato salad. The prep and service was fast. I had enjoyed the schnitzel and cabbage. The potato salad was ok. They served amarble rye with butter. To wash it down I opted for their Pilsner that was crisp and refreshing. For dessert I tried their applestrudel. It was ok. Not fresh or homemade as the pastry was soft; not crisp. The vanilla sauce was on the watery side. I doubtI?ll order it again, and will try their Black Forest cake. It?s strange that they?re open from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. As good as theyare, that?s their hours. Mind the local drinking at the bar, and don?t say you?ve not been warned to limit the conversation ashe?s opinionated; and takes offense over cooking. Very strange character. Read more

Absolutely delicious! Fast and friendly service. I've been dying to have schnitzel since the first time I tried it years ago,... and this really scratched that itch. The live accordion music and rich decor makes eating here a fun experience. Very worthyour time! Read more

Short version: B grade German food that won't break the bank! When you sit next to a table of Germans you know you are in the... right place! Decor: Authentic German restraunt, the interior is dated likely the 70s or 80s. The restraunt has an older bar orlive in family establishment type of feeling. Part of the decor has old pictures, lederhosen and beer steins. Waitstaff: Thewaitstaff was not outwardly friendly but were very efficient and polite! Food: The Weinersnitzel i would definitely recommendwas thin and breaded but not dry. My 9 year old daughter had the sandwich which is basically Weinersnitzel on a buttered bun andenjoyed that. My wife had the knockwurst which is pictured. Was not a fan of the potatoe salad but overall everything was good.Desert was an apple strudel...I have had one from a friend from the Alps and his was much better but I would definitely orderone here again its not what I would call delicate but flavorful with a cream sauce not ice cream. Good Authentic Atmosphere! ???? Unfortunately we were quite disappointed in the Jager Schnitzel, Rahm Schnitzel and Potato... Dumpling. Looked decent but tasted too Americanized. I wish we didn't feel this way because we really wanted some authentictasting Schnitzel. Sauces were weak. ???? Also, as a special cuisine resteraunt you would expect a cloth napkin not 1 cheappaper napkin. Wine and beer was great ???? Would we take friends or family there again? Probably not. Read more
