Everything here is great. As soon as you walk in the door you can smell the smokey aroma. You know you entered BBQ heaven. ... The service is excellent, prompt and friendly. The pulled pork is amazing. Good smoke flavor and tender. Ribs are fall offthe bone delicious. The portion sizes are ample to say the least. You wing go home hungry. What a fantastic place. Trust us this is some of the best restaurant BBQ we have ever had. Pork was juicy as was the brisket.... Onion rings were some of the best we have ever had. If you're in Mesa go check this place out. Our waitress was the best too! Read more
My son and I stopped in for a late lunch while in town. The fried catfish was really good, cooked perfectly. My son had the... chicken and really liked the smoky flavor of it. He had beans and cornbread and said they were really good. The coleslaw wasfresh and crisp but a little to sweet and to much dressing for my taste but it was okay. Everything was fresh. The prices werevery reasonable and the service was great. We will definitely go back when we are in town again. Read more
Horrible experience. Ordered ribs, pulled pork sandwich, corn cob, beans, and 1 side order of potato wedges. Wanted cornbread... but they were out. Handed order in bag and paid. See the pics - this is all I received. I immediately called them and spoke toFrank but he said once we leave with the order they will not make it right. Even though they had my ticket order and I offeredto send them the pics of all the potato wedges we received and a baked potato. He refused to offer any compensation or allow usto come back to get the correct order. When I threatened to dispute on my credit card and review on social media, he replied,?Go ahead?. So here it is! I liked the fried catfish. As for the two sides, mac n cheese & cowboy beans, not so much. The mac n cheese was creamy yet... flavorless. The beans were barely warm, not hot. They seemed to be undercooked because they weren't tender. More time on thestove would've been good. The meal along with a Sprite was $19 and change. In "my" opinion, not worth it. Atmosphere was awesome. All the signage had me cracking up. The brisket and pulled pork were amazing. My folks loved their ham... and cheese sandwich, and the bbq sauce had the right amount of tang for my taste. ???? I'll be going back. Read more
Excellent!! I knew just from the smell when I pulled up! Parking is good, feels like a smokehouse meets a dinner the meets a... dive. The food was amazing, the service was excellent! Drinks come in Mason jars, lots of really funny signs on the walls. Iwill be heading back soon! Read more
