I feel sorry for the owners of this place. I have a feeling they have no idea what's going on here. These people don't work they... just go to party. And they aren't even shy about doing deals in the parking lot. If you don't have cameras you might want to getone and start over with new employees. I'm only talking about daytime crew. I kept calling but they were all too busy outsidewith personal pleasures to take an order much less fulfill it.. There were no customers inside either. So disappointed. This was my first time in a Waffle house. I like to eat and read and enjoy a good cup of coffee. I was disappointed that a sign... said 'Booths are for parties of two or larger. If alone please sit at the counter.' This was a huge turn off. Most counterseats have no back or like in this case was a metal chair back. I have rods in my back, metal chairs hurt, but I followed therules and sat at the counter very uncomfortably. The menu I had was very sticky when handed too me and I felt like I put thewaitress out when I asked for a different one. She wiped it down and handed it back still wet and dripping. Food was nice. Ihad two eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns and toast. Eggs were actually done right. No one ever seems to get an egg overmedium correct. Bacon was perfect. Toast was a bit on the small side. Just these two little tiny pieces of bread cut in half.Looked like sickly little runts of the bread loaf. Hash browns were done nicely, not so hard they crunched. Coffee wasn't toostrong which I like but tasted a bit burnt. It's kind of funny though, maybe it's just me, but I don't think I saw a singlewaffle on the menu. Would I go back, no not to this one. I went in for a to go order and was told they were not taking to go orders. A few people in the restaurant were already served... and eating. No other person in there requesting a to go order. Nothing was being cooked on the grill. I asked the girl why? Shewhen they are understaffed they don't do to go orders. All I wanted was one egg & hash browns. Never heard of such 8n my life &I will not be returning to this location. But your sign & voice mail say you take to go orders. Read more
Food was the only redeeming quality of this place. When we walked in before 10pm, neither of the workers greeted us, more of a... mumble. Our waitress didn?t introduce herself, didn?t smile, and was very solemn the whole time we were there. Cricket on thefloor, which really grossed out our friend, and they didn?t deal with it. Not that big of a problem. Food was okay, our hashbrowns were weird and noodle... over easy eggs were a bit undercooked, but the scrambled were good. I have never in my life been treated like I'm a piece of gum on someone shoe untill the manager I believe Alexa treated me and... my wife like we were absolute trash and all because I mentioned my order being wrong I was called a liar and a few other thingsI don't care to mention in this post.
