This location was way under staffed. I was the second person in line and no workers were out front. The customer in front of me... left. I wish I did too. I finally placed my order. My receipt says Richard took my order and he was not friendly. Many morecustomer left because it took so long to place an order. It took 30 minutes for them to get my food and when I got it home itwas cold. This was not a great experience. Read more

First time visited 11/17/22. Will not return. The food wasn't bad and it was served in a timely fashion -- the place was... almost empty at 4:30 p.m. on a Thursday -- but it was very much over-priced for what we got. Two burgers, two skimpy orders offries, two medium soft drinks came to $35. And it's really intimidating to be asked for a tip before you've even got your orderor found a place to sit! The booth seating is hard -- oak benches -- and the first two booths I looked at were dirty. Onetable hadn't been wiped from the previous customer, and the next booth had lots of crumbs -- more than one customer's worth --lodged between the bench slats. Pretty disgusting. We found another booth that at least didn't have crumbs. The orders offrench fries were really small. Like . . . REALLY small. I don't know what the price was, since the fries and medium drink werecombined in a "make it a meal" price of $4.89, but the quantity was minuscule. The burgers were standard fare, cooked well doneand mine had burnt cheese on the edges. No choice of cheese, by the way; you're stuck with orange American. I don't know whatweight (before cooking) the burger was, but it, too, wasn't very big. For the same price, we could have gone to our usual placewhere we get bigger burgers cooked to order with choice of cheese, BIG helping of french fries, clean comfortable booth, andSILVERWARE. One star only because you are forced to! TL,DR: Don't waste your time or money on this location. They can't fill orders... correctly and the manager lacks both social and managerial skills. We received horrible customer service from the managerRichard. They made our food wrong by putting my fries on my husband's plate. When I said I needed new ones the server told usthe manager said no - just eat them off the other plate (really?). When I said I can't because I need gluten-free ones, theysaid it didn't matter because they served me a bun heated on the grill with other buns. I made it very clear I needed my orderto be prepared gluten free and my ticket had an allergy alert on it. I know it's not a gluten free kitchen (duh- they serveburgers!). I just asked for precautions in the kitchen (new gloves, no heating the bun, etc.). Off the server goes back to thekitchen.... the manager would give us new fries if we gave up our fries (because of course we are trying to get free food!).When the server finally brought the fries we said this was bad service and the manager should have come out. He did after thatand said he doesn't deal with argumentative customers, don't ever come back because he won't serve us. He wasn't interested inhaving a conversation to resolve the issue - instead we got kicked out. We weren't planning on coming back anyway. I have never been to Smash Burger and heard that it was good. I finally took my kids to try it and as we were waiting in line... this couple was making a large order and as they finished I heard the employee saying, "sorry, we can't take your order, ourgrill is full" I worked at Giant Hamburgers as a chef and we would get slammed hard! Never have we told a customer we couldn'ttake their order because our grill is full! Shame on your employees Smash Burger Management! They should be replaced withemployees that want to work and provide Excellent service. refused to take my order because their grill was full!! I never in mylife heard that before! I do a fair amount of reviewing and I'd say a very high percentage are positive, so with that said I'll just say that I won't... likely go back to Smashburger. The total for 3 people came to over $55 which included a 10%tip which I was prompted to give atthe register. I don't think places that collect payment before food is served/consumed (fast food) should expect tips... tipsare for great service and above average food IMO. I had the Smoked Bacon Brisket burger... it was decent but I paid $3.09 for aside of tots and was literally brought 15 tots ???? The girl at the counter had zero personality, bordering on annoyed that wewere there to eat... & did I mention 15 tots for $3.09... maybe that was how the staff reacted to a 10% tip? Read more

Torn in this review!!! The burgers were delicious. BUT the female (red hair, unable to see any name tag) was not hygienic. Upon... arrival it took her solid 10 mins to help the couple who ordered one burger. While helping them she poked her nose andscratched her head profusely. She took our order told me that the six meals we ordered were a lot of work. (?) She asked if wewouldn't like to take them home and made a face when we said dine-in. She turned around pokes her nose and adjusts her bra andproceeds to package up meals. Yeah no hand washing or gloves. This was disgusting. I had to say something because it was sodisgusting. I asked her to PLEASE glove up. Thankfully someone else who did wash their hands served us and he gloved up. Shecontinued to cash people out and serve their meals without hand washing. She did make the shakes for us but gloved up. She didnot glove up or wash her hand when serving others. There is a box of gloves sitting right there. Not sure why hygiene is uponrequest. The restaurant is under "update". But the side that is not is super dirty. We had to wipe our own table there was amess at every table. Hope the management takes their locations cleanliness seriously because the food was great. So whatever theback is doing should be introduced to the front end. Placed an order online. Went to pick it up and no employee would acknowledge that I was standing there, another customer right... next to me. Appeared to be understaffed. I finally had to ask about the bag of food sitting on the counter and like I suspected,it was mine. Not a word from who I assumed was the mgr, just handed me the bag. Won't be back. Service was awful. Too manyburger places to deal with that. Read more

We purchased the specialty burger that had brisket which was outstanding. We also added avocado to the double stack and shared... it. We felt like it was plenty since we also shared fries with rosemary and also a shake. I liked the salted Carmel and she likethe Oreo shake and both loved the fries. Read more
