I'm sad to say this but things have changed for the worst. I used to love this place & was a very loyal customer for years.... Although I haven't been in a long time I was shocked with how inflacted the prices became. Just for TWO burritos $40.00!! I knowtimes are hard and you're only open 10am-3pm but you can't justify that price. I'm disappointed and would have appreciated a bitmore love as I've been so supportive of this business. I hope things change in the future but anyone coming beware the prices. Read more

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this is definitely the spot to try. I have tried the tamales, sopes, and... chilaquiles the food is rich in flavor and taste. Shoutout to the cooks at this restaurant, because they know how to cook somegood food in that kitchen. Also, the art on the walls adds to that truly authentic Mexican restaurant experience.???????? *Thisis an updated review. Also, these pictures were taken back in June of this year. ????????? I hope the owners and managers read this. If the price gouging was not enough (yes, inflation is driving food prices up, still),... your staff are cancelling phone orders 20 minutes before close. There is plenty of time to make a burrito and bag chips andsalsa to go 30 minutes before close. It is simply unacceptable for an order to be cancelled 10 minutes after placing it withenough time to get it out the door. Door Dash would have delivered to my door before your establishment closed for the day. Itis apparent your staff care more about leaving right at 5 than to make good on the orders received and continue to keep happycustomers. I will not return. And I loved this location, much more than the one on Ellsworth. Get it together and actually showyou care about your business. Read more

Overpriced. For 5 of us, our bill was $100. No alcohol, just soft drinks with our meals. No waiters. I had the fish tacos. ... They were okay. The drink dispensers were out of regular Barqs Root beer, others were not available as well. Go to Taco Bellfor this type of price. The fancy menu names tend to cloud what meal you're ordering. Beware. I was disappointed. Read more

3 Stars ?? plus 1/2… I came here on a recommendation that it would be better than their other location: more of a restaurant... setting, better quality, and service. I ordered at the register; so there goes the restaurant service one might expect. Therewas some confusion trying to find the Chimichangas on the menu; even the associate had trouble finding it. I ordered the groundbeef chimichanga, making it a platter with refried beans and rice, and a large fountain drink. I was then asked for what kind ofbeans for the filling… odd as I’m not use to answering that; just make the chimichanga as you will make them. Then I wasasked what kind of cup… there’s a dine in cup, and a ‘To Go’ cup. Odd; considering I may wish to take my drink with me;along with any leftovers. I sat in a more comfortable setting than the booths they have at their other location. Chips and salsawere brought which was nice, and not similar to their other location. When my chimichanga came, I asked for more sour cream asthey drizzled some over the chimichanga. The refried beans and rice were okay. When I cut into the chimichanga it wasn’t ascrisp as I’d like it to be, and I heard that voice in my head… you know the one of the little old lady from the Wendy’scommercial from days of old that said “Where’s the beef?!” There was more color than the ground beef from their otherlocation that appeared gray and had no flavor. Plus there was an equal amount, if not more, refried beans than ground beef. Thischimichanga really didn’t “Wow!” me. I left the leftovers behind: about 1/5th of the chimichanga, and less than half ofthe sides. Is this worth driving 30+ minutes for, and spending $20.30 for? I don’t believe so. Sorry Rury, I gave bothrestaurants a try. This is slightly better than the other location. I’ll add that your patio is nice, and the bathrooms areavailable and clean. Maybe I’ll return and give it another try? I’d have to be in the area for that to happen. Read more

First time at Rudy's Mexican Grill. Delicious food, great selection. We had the chilaquiles (sause on the side) with two... overhard eggs on top. A breakfast chorizo burrito and the kids shared the egg and ham scramble. Read more

Never knew about Rudys Mexican grill until I had to go pick up my vehicle at Colazos Mechanic / Phoenix Metro towing due to a... flat on the side of freeway. My fiancé and I received some help from Rudy and friends at the shop with the tire. Aftereverything was done, Rudy himself invited us to eat at Rudy’s Mexican Grill. I ordered the sopes plate and my fiancé orderedthe California burrito. The margaritas is yummy! The food and service is amazing! Super tasty food & salsa is great. If I couldgive more than a 5 star I would. Thank you Rudy! Read more
