Hello, today has been not such a good day for me. I had issues with my bank card and had to cancel one of them, well my bank... ended up canceling both my cards and so when I went to Rubios to get lunch my cards declined. This young man namedMichael...SWEETEST person ever!!! he took care of me and paid for my meal, I was so frustrated and ready to walk away and I felthorrible for wasting their time, but he made me honestly smile from inside out. My favorite order here us the Shrimp Trio Plate which you can get with tortilla chips or greens and dressing. The tacos are... always hot and fresh. I like the variety of toppings on these. This location seems to give more chips than others. Read more
I had the two fish taco especial and my eyes were wide open at the size of the plump fish. I've been eating at Rubio's (across... states) since the womb and the fish pieces were subpar. I was traveling and had a difficult time finding this Rubio's. Onlybecause I was traveling and Google maps did not indicate 'shopping center'. Hey, I'm on the road trying to get home, I'm nottrying to shop and eat. Nonetheless, this shopping center's layout allows access to Rubio's from outside the mall and inside themall. I really like there wasn''t any temptation to go shopping either. Entering from inside the mall you have to walk throughthe outside seating of Tiki tables into the dining area and around to the register. Entering from the parking lot, it appearsthat there is no dining area until you get your self serve drinks. Alas! The Self-serve salsa bar has returned.! You must trythe savory jalapeno lime salsa. I am anxiously waiting for this to be marketed on the shelves. I love chips. But not chippedteeth. Rubio's chips are crisp, lightly salted, and no greasy residue. I always dip them in the no lard beans in between bitesof the moist fish taco. These are not the best fish tacos I have eaten but a reliable and dependable flavor that is not heavy onthe tummy, especially when driving across states. I must add there are plenty of food options for salad connoisseurs, vegan,vegetarian, carnivores, pescatarians, kiddos and even if you have no teeth. Been going to this rubio's for years... generally a great experience. I think everything is made to order..so there can be a... bit of a wait occasionally. Salsas always seem to be fresh and menu always has seasonal specials. Read more
Rubio?s has always been a safe option for us. We enjoy Mexican with a seafood twist to it. I?ve been to this location of Rubio?s... a few times now and have had a great experience each time. The food is delicious - they have never messed up our order. Theplace is clean and the staff are great. We came last time a little later in the evening, and there was not much of a crowd atthe time. Our food was delivered very quickly. The staff could have been a little happier. We will be back, and would recommendyou try it out. Read more
Love the Backened Mahi Mahi California Bowl. Street Tacos are great! Fish Tacos with sliced jalapeños are the best!
