I got a LOCAL FLAVOR deal for this restaurant. We didn't have high expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. The food was... decent -- a solid 3.75 stars. I got the Tacos del Mar with white fish, and my hubby got the Mexican Flag plate. He thought thered sauce was really good. We both LOVED the fresh salsa -- it came out with warm chips, and we got a prompt refill by ourserver. We give the salsa and chips 4 stars. The service was great -- attentive and swift. The restaurant itself was exactly asI expected-- kind of old and tired, but it had a real authentic Mexican restaurant feel, so I didn't mind the old and tired,worn-out vibe -- after all, its apparently been around for decades.
