This was my first time coming here. The smoothies were delicious! One of the flavors we got was the Berry Dragon Fruit Breeze... Smoothie, not too sweet but not too bland either. The large cups are huge, it would last me all day! I would say it is worth theprice as well. They knew the menu on the top of there heads which was pretty awesome. Honestly not sure what to think of this place. Because of a road closure we weren't able to make it to a jamba juice, after... searching smoothies on Google we found this place. As a first time customer I'm not too sure how I feel about thisplace. According to the employee working, the menu is very outdated. Today I ordered a Leapin' lizard off the weight losssection of the menu, it contains "strawberries, peach and a fat burner blast" when I asked if they have any other add ins, helisted a few as well as the the "fat burner blast" "wait, isn't that already in the drink?" I asked. He replied "my manager toldme we aren't supposed to add it, if you want it I have to charge you extra!" What?! So the listed ingredients aren't even in thesmoothie? It made no sense. They also have a glass case with food items and local honey (at least the employee said it waslocal.) But it isn't priced and its not on the menu. When I asked the price, he wasn't sure and had to look it up on thecomputer. (I'm assuming they don't sell much of it if he doesn't know a price?) As far as the smoothies, they were lackingflavor, and not enough ice or frozen fruit because he handed then to me and they already seemed melted. I feel like this placehas so much potential. The smoothies need to be thicker, the menu needs an update, and items need prices. Employees need moreknowledge about what they are selling; fix these things and you may get more business. I purchased 2 sets of Groupons, each set consisting of 2 separate $10 vouchers. The first time I tried to use one, they couldn't... take it because they had a new system that they didn't know how to run a Groupon through. The second time I went, they took itbut could only access 1 of the 2 vouchers so they had to use 1 from the 2nd group too. I was told that they are having a lot ofissues with their Groupons and that it may take a little while for the remaining vouchers to become available. That neverhappened so when I returned I let the employee know and he said that he knows nothing about the Groupons and that he couldn'thelp me. He said he was new and that there was nobody else there. Well, I called today to speak to a manager and was told thatone wasn't there and was asked if I'd like to leave a message, so I did. I then asked for the manager's name and was told thatthe manager may not want her name disclosed. What!? Since when can't you tell somebody who your manager is? I thought thepurpose of Groupon was to promote your business. This place has not only not promoted their business, they have hurt it becauseit's not just me they lost as a potential customer. "Word of mouth" goes a long way. I, myself, always read reviews before I trya new restaurant or product and I'm sure there are many others who do. Read more
