Niros is consistently tasty. Their gyro sandwiches are always on point; you can tell the meat is freshly sliced. Curly fries... aren't too bad, but nothing special. They have excellent pastries if you are in the mood for a baklava. Prices aren't too bad,you can get a combo for around $15 including tip. It is always clean, and the dining room is nice. This was not my first time since location changed from Gyro House to Niro's but this place is getting better and better each... time I come here. Gyro meat and beef shawarma were tasty! For me the babaganoush was so awesome tasting that roasted eggplantinside... i guess ny kids saw me loving it that they started eating it too (almost came to a fight for the last bite!) Theassorted desert/Baklava was love at first bite!!!! They were not too sweet and not overrunning with honey.... it was jusssstright. I ordered the Kofta Kabab entree and it was a total waste of my money. First, they messed up the order. I asked to switch the... salad with rice and instead got the whole entree full of salad. They did give rice in a separate small container but that justwas not enough. The kofta kabab was dry and chewy, and almost tasted burnt. The salad looked like it had been in the fridge fora while as the cucumber just looked water-soaked. The hummus and the rice was not up to the mark either. I definitely would notrecommend this place! From the self proclaimed gyro expert: 8/10 stars Overall the atmosphere of this place was great! Upbeat greek, and very... clean. Gyro specifics: Pros: Fresh hot pita, big portions of meat (note the shwarma meat is better than gyro meat), fries wereincredible! Veggies were great that were on the gyro! Cons/areas of improvement: could use more tzatziki (also was not asstrong with garlic or dill or thick as I prefer), would prefer some fresh green lettuce as well! Ordered the Chicago Gyro, untested and untasted with not even a picture available to preview... Hands down one of THE BEST gyros...
