First experience was bad, but I won't write a place off after one bad experience. This is my third stop and each time seems... worse than the last. Burgers were paper thin and covered in old wilted pathetic looking vegetables. Fries were bland and somehowtough to chew. Chicken tenders were gray, dry and tasted like they were picked up off the floor of the deep freeze after sittingthere for a few years. The restaurant, like it's food, seems very out of date. The only urinal cake in this gas stationbathroom experience was the staff. They were polite, quick to check in and very friendly. I would never suggest anyone gohere for food, but maybe stop in for a drink and make sure to tip! Read more
The wings were decent- I like moist wings but since I got the dry rub sauce, it was crispier and had a drier consistency. They... were still pretty good and paired nicely with the ranch; the wings were nice and hot and tender. The wings also come with celerysticks, and I like how the restaurant cut the sticks so they are easier to chew... but not carrot sticks. Also, the pizza isokay. I got the buffalo pizza, but I didn't really taste the buffalo seasoning that the menu said was on the pizza. It doesn'tseem like it was very heavy on the meat either. I will say however, the service was efficient and I like how they packaged thefood to-go and packed utensils and made sure everything was organized neatly. The wait was not too bad if you pre-order. As always the food was great. However, the estimate for the pickup time was off by about 30 minutes. I was waiting in the take... out area, which is a tiny area by the door, for about 20 minutes after I was initially greeted. Mom and I went here on a Friday afternoon for the All you can eat fish and were terribly disappointed. For $13.99 you get two... very small pieces of fried fish and fries in your first order. Mom's first order was burnt and did not taste like Cod at all.For the second order, I received a single, very small piece of fish with fries. This fish was about half the size of mom'ssecond order which was very saddening. I was still hungry so I ordered another round of fish and asked the waitress if I couldget two pieces since I knew they'd be small enough to finish with no problem and was told no, even though a paying customer (me)was asking for it, so I got one piece then mom got one piece so I could eat both of them. Our waitress was not very attentive toour needs because it seemed that she was the only one working the dining area and never asked if we enjoyed our food, which wasprobably a good idea on her part.
