This rating is based on this being a low cost, counter pick up pizza place in comparison to Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc (not... sit down like Mellow Mushroom). This is the best there is if you are looking for a cheap pizza option. Their seasoned crust andgarlic parmesan bread sets them above the rest. On their original you will get the perfect amount of sauce, very cheesy,perfectly baked base, well seasoned crust and a moderate amount of toppings. I will say I expected more toppings based on thepictures but we got one of the deals on the website, $25 for 2 large 1 topping + Howie Bread, so maybe that merited a decreasein toppings. Looking at the reviews, I would recommend ordering directly from their website (especially for the deals) or byphone and picking up the order. I was Hungry again for some Howies in western Mesa while I was sitting at Starbucks outside(no indoor seating)in 107F... weather. I lucked out and saw a mirage(like Treasure of the Sierra Madre)that was real: An HH directly ahead of me in theadjacent shopping center. I strolled over or should I say staggered over in the outdoor oven that is Mesa now and was warmlygreeted by GM Jessica. She made my day(Clint Eastwood style)with a totally satisfying and delicious smorgasbord of bonelessasian wings, loaded pizza and 3 cheese bread. It all tasted great and Jessica provided world class service. Hungry Howies andmy stomach win again. Highly recommended. Read more
Bad experience. This location is HORRIBLE overall. I placed my online order, which was to be picked up by me, 30 minutes prior... to showing up to this store. I get here and they tell me they never received the order, because online ordering isn?t working.Yet the website is still up, it took my order, gave me a receipt, and took my money. While I?m in there a boy walks in and isalso there to pick up an order, which the employee tells him ?our online ordering isn?t working?. The boy says we didn?t placeit online, we called it in to the store. And the employee tells him ?the call center is down? so they didn?t get it. How is thecall center down when they called the store directly?? And how is the online ordering down but still taking orders. Makes nosense. This store is horrible with horrible management. We normally pick up our pizza, but we decided to order delivery tonight. They told us it would be 30 minutes, but after over an... hour we had to call and asked where our pizza was. When we called back they told us they don't have drivers and that they we'rewaiting on a third party driver to come and get it... so they gave us the option of waiting to see if the driver would ever showup with our (now over an hour old) pizza our we could just cancel. So We canceled. I get that they don't care that we waitedan hour for nothing, but They really need to tell ppl they don't have drivers before they let them order food that isn'tcoming. Read more
We ordered a pizza, sandwich and wings from this location around 4pm. The site said it would be delivered in an hour. Well an... hour and a half later still no delivery. I called to check on the status and was told that our order had been ready and sittingthere waiting for 50+ minutes!! They said they didn't have anyone to deliver it! No one called us to inform us of this otherwisewe would have gone and picked it up ourselves! We cancelled our order and asked for a refund. I never write reviews, But thiswas TERRIBLE customer service. Read more
Pizza is always fresh and good. And being able to add flavors on crust is the Best.
