Wow this place is good, but it is hard to find as the numbering of the suites doesn't make sense. If is inside the Chinese... enclosed shopping mall and next to the food court, but it good food. We had soup dumplings, wonton soup, and spicy beef noodlesoup, and signature dumplings which are things I crave as I came home. Authentic Chinese dumplings and noodles in a smallfamily owned space. Finally got to try this place we saw on social media called Happy Bao’s Restaurant. It's inside the Mekong Palace in Mesa,... Arizona! They are famous for their Asian Bao and dumplings! But we were even more surprised with their Asian BBQ Ribs! Aftergiving this restaurant a two thumbs up it went across the way to Tea Snow and grabbed a Thai Tea and a Sunset Cocktail! It was aperfect refreshing drink to end the night! Something you should know, the restaurant is very small, so be prepared to wait inline, but if you love Asian cuisines, it will be worth the wait! Date night was a success for me. It was delicious, I loved every bite. I can’t wait to go back for more. Down side, my... significant other wasn’t thrilled about it (might go back by myself to enjoy, anyway. Lol) There wasn’t a lot of space orroom, kind of crammed. Maybe it was the language barrier but the service was not too helpful or approachable. The over all lookwas awesome and a reminded it is in an indoor plaza. So a lot of other things to check out. How do i give 20 star's ???? ????. First time here and it was super delicious. I was afraid my daughters would not like it.... Well they ended up wanting more and more. Got home and went straight for the left overs. Its so worth the 40 minute drive. Thestaff is great helped us by explaining the menu and best dishes... came out to $110 so well worth it. Came here today with our super awesome friend Eli, and it's not just about the Bao! They make other dishes that are also... delicious. We had Pork Wonton Noodle soup, Pork chow fun and the combo Bao. Make sure you use the sauce with the label "H" fordipping the baos in. The one with labeled "V" is vinegar. The Bao bottoms are crunchy with sesame seeds and goes great with thehouse brown sauce. Happy Baos became a favorite of ours a few months ago, and it was so nice to make it back today. The service is fast and very... attentive and the food is superb. Everything tastes very fresh and flavorful. The price is really fair for the portions you getand it's pretty much impossible to leave without feeling very full. Read more
