Food wasn't ready when it said it would be from when I ordered online. I ordered my sub without a pickle and found my sub upside... down resting on top of that disgusting pickle. Ruined my whole sub by just touching it. Thanks Firehouse for not being able tofollow one simple instruction. I just don't understand. I want a refund. Read more
This location of Firehouse is just not good, haven't been here in about year despite it being 2 minutes from home because it's... always something. Decided to give it another try today, very slow service to start. Ordered a large Hook and Ladder with nodeli mustard, not crazy I thought. Get home to half of a ham sub and half of a turkey sub that also had deli mustard on it. Ijust don't get it almost $14 for this sub and can't do it right. I love firehouse subs, unfortunately this location has issues with being timely in their service and communication to customers... of wait times. The last 3 times I've gone there there have been extremely long wait times (40+ minutes.) In addition to the longwait the cashier also didn't know how to use the rewards to scan for points. It was pretty frustrating. I will go out of my wayto go to a different location because of the service issues around this store. Read more
Wow! The bread was good, and thats about all I have to say positively about this over priced place. We ordered 2 meat subs. ... The meatballs were cold, but the cheese was warm. How does that happen? Oh, youvdidnt microwave the meatballs long enough toheat them through! There was a little bit of sauce on them. A tiny little bit. So, basically a cold, dry tasteless sandwhichon good bread. Yeah, no. This was over $20 for 2 sandwhiches. No chips, no drinks. I had no idea marinara sauce was so dearthar you couldn't put any on the sandwhiches. RIP OFF! Read more
Delicious! I ordered an Italian on wheat without the Italian dressing. Each of the three people all spoke to me. Very friendly.... As I was waiting for my sandwich I watched as one of the cleaned tables. She did a good job..... Not just a hit a a miss,cleaned tables thoroughly. Went here for lunch today. Mind you, my wife and I have always loved Firehouse subs and been a regular client. The service has... suffered since the pandemic, but today was the worst and thus prompted this review. There were three people in line when wewalked in. We paid for our food at 1:34 p.m. according to our receipt and finally 2:10 p.m. my husband asked how much longer itwas going to be. They assured us we were coming up soon. We received our food at 2:25 p.m. We had ordered two medium standardsandwiches, not a specialty item. There were five employees working while we were there, but only two of them were allowed tomake sandwiches. The others were either at the till or moving in and out of the kitchen area. Not once did any of the employeeslet us know that there would be a delay. We were not the only ones that complained. An Uber driver came in to pick up an ordershe was delivering and said it was the second time in a week she had been forced to wait to pick up the food for her customer.We won't be going back any time soon. So many other places in Mesa to get a sandwich. Read more
