Do not eat at this location especially the drive thru. I have a problem when photographs are taken and the food received... doesn't look like picture. I recently went to this location. Purchased different items from the menu. When I opened up thebag. To my utter disappointment. My taco didn't have enough ingredients to make one small bite. The taco shell was empty. Ihad to peel off 3 inches of my tortilla before I found any beans or cheese. The food did not taste fresh. Drove back to thislocation waited in the drive thru. At this time the dinning room was closed. I showed the person at the drive thru. Thesubstandard food. All I wanted was my money back. Got into a major debate about the substandard food. After about 15 minutesof arguing with punk at the window. With many patrons waiting in line to get their garbage food. I finally received myrefund. This location should be shut down. I love this Del Taco at Southern and Val Vista in Mesa! The food is good and prices are quite reasonable. The service is... exceptionally fast. The manager, Anna, and all the employees who work her shift, are incredibly friendly, quickly learn and useyour name (if you are a "regular," I presume) and accommodating of special requests. I've been frequenting this particular storefor about two years now, often multiple times a week. Of all the Del Taco's in the area, this one is by far my favorite! Read more

Did the drive thru at about 1:00 pm and after taking my Credit card for payment then returning the card they asked me to buck up... and wait. Confused I said OK and the guy waived me back until I was completely clear of the window. Meanwhile the customerbehind me came forward. Not a safe process! The possabilities with this practice are not good! I was then waived forward after acouple of minuets and given my food. I can only guess why but might be a way to improve the drive thru timer tracking! Read more
Honestly, it's fast food so I don't have high expectations. It was tasty, reasonably priced and while I wouldn't find myself... going out of my way to visit, I would certainly eat it again should I find myself hungry and with a del taco in the vicinity. Iwould certainly choose this over the other well known chain with taco in its name!! Read more
This Del taco is amazing! Always have great service the food is always very good the Del Tacos always are full to the top with... toppings. Their burritos are huge. They are nothing like Taco Bell 100% better than Taco Bell. I used to go to Taco Bell all thetime they started getting rid of everything I liked which is a good thing cuz now I go to Del Taco and I'm so glad. Read more
