Cracker Barrel We stopped by here for a Tuesday breakfast at about 10 am and were promptly seated. Faith was our server, cordial... and friendly. The pancakes and chicken fried steak came out quickly and were very good and tasty. Very well run restaurant. The Country Store was well stocked and clean, many specials going on today. The slowest service ever.! We were seated right away and waited at least 20 minutes just for our server to say ?hi what can I... get you to drink!? Of course we threw her off with the fact that we knew what we wanted.! Another 40 minutes later we got ourbreakfast! Mind you we ordered no meat with our food.! Eggs and French toast should never take that long.! She didn?t keep ourwaters refilled.! We have a long journey home and caffeine doesn?t sit well on long journeys, so servers need to understand noteveryone can drink 2 glasses of soda.! But water should be ?bottomless refills as well? I had to ask for my refill of water andby the time she got to it, I was ready to go.! I?ve been to many Cracker Barrel?s, throughout our Nation and this one needsimprovement.! We had not been here in a very long time but got a gift card so my mother and I went just the 2 of us. Got there close to 6pm on... a Thursday and didn't have to wait to be seated, our server (think his name was matthew) was FANTASTIC. I asked his opinionbetween 2 items and he told me hands down the maple bacon grilled chicken was the way to go HE WAS CORRECT. Boy was it yummy! Wewill definitely be back and I hope we get the same server he was FANTASTIC. Went back again tonight and still just as good. Weasked to be seated in Matthew's section again and different server took care of us. She was good but not nearly as fun as heis. Chicken fried steak was good and the portion of the sides was generous. Biscuits and cornbread are also tasty. Mashed potatoes... were a little stiff. Peach tea was excellent. Great desserts. They also have a quaint little gift shop with a lot of fun andnostalgic items. Read more
Overall the experience was great. This was my first time visiting this establishment and I can say you definitely will not go... home hungry. The menu had a variety of meals ranging from breakfast to dinner. The server Raina, was an absolutely amazingserver and knows how to take care of her customers. Matthew one of the restaurant managers, would consistently check in on howmy meal is tasting and would go above and beyond to make sure if anything was wrong, it would be corrected immediately.
