Good food and service the sweetpork is so good. Gripe about their TV monitor menus are hard to view. They really need to tilt... them down, near impossible to read from the order counter. Read more

The employees here at the Dana Park Costa Vida are so patient and hardworking. We came in during lunch today and there was a... customer ahead of us making things very complicated for them, not to mention other customers being rude to them due to the waitcaused by that person. Throughout it all, they stayed patient and were very kind to everyone. The employees here are alwaysstretched thin due to staffing issues, but they never fail to make delicious food that is always worth any wait. Read more

Very disappointed. I had been here a couple times before. Today the food was terrible! I took my dad to a doctor's appointment... footfall. He's currently living in a rehab where he hasn't been eating well. So I wanted to take him somewhere he would enjoyand eat well. I asked him where he wanted to go and he chose Costa Vida. He said he wanted chicken enchiladas and that they hadgood ones. We both ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce and black beans and rice. The guy gave me the wrong beans. I didn'tcomplain. I just wanted dad to have a good meal. I set him up to eat while I got our drinks. I got back to the table and couldtell by the look on his face he was disappointed. I took a bite and seriously couldn't figure out what it tasted like. The bestway to describe it is it tasted like cardboard! I took 2 bites of the enchilada trying to figure out what the taste was. It wasthe red sauce that had the rank taste. I took one bite of the rice. It was dry and had no flavor. I tried a bite of the beansbut, was not impressed. When I had come here before the place was packed. There were only about 5 tables being occupied. Ifthis is now the norm for the food I can see why it was so dead. The music was so loud we couldn't carry on a conversation. Ihad to go outside to make a phone call. It was such a disappointment. My dad ate more than I did. He took the rest back to therehab because he said it might be better than what they are serving. I have been there when his tray comes and sometimes youcan't recognize what it is. One time it was supposed to be Sweet and Sour pork it looked like tuna on brown rice. So Iunderstand why he took it back. It would have to be pretty bad too have the enchiladas as a back up. I feel bad he didn't get agood meal to eat. Read more

I'm so disappointed in this location. Costa Vida used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. I remember when this location... opened in the early 2000's...it was clean, fresh, and delicious EVERY TIME. You'd walk in and the TV's would have surfingvideos on, fun music going in the lobby, clean tables, and very friendly staff. I don't know what's happened in the last fewyears, but the decline is intense! It is filthy (broken fountain, dirty tables and floors in lobby, dirty/smelly bathrooms everytime!), and the staff is always SO RUDE! Why? The prices have gone up so much, and I'll be darned if when I order a side (i.e.beans, rice) and they actually fill the cup up past half way. I do not leave google reviews, but I made it a point to get onand warn others, and beg the management (or corporate!!!) to please get this location back on track. It seems like they aregoing to throw in the towel and close any day with the way they are running this location. Read more

They finally fixed the septic tank smell that used to fill the entire front area. Food is always good though. No complaints. ... Prices did go up quite a lot though. Even mango salsa and other things that used to be free have a charge now. :( also I gotthe lunch special and it was only maybe .50 cheaper total. So not really worth it. But I do still really love the sweet pork. Read more

***Don't buy gift cards for family here.*** They didn't accept their own gift card. They claimed the gift card we just got for... Christmas was "too old and from their old system". Then, another employee claimed the person who gifted it to us, my straight asan arrow step mom, scammed us. ???? A third employee said to call corporate which during their stated business hours wentstraight to a voicemail I expect we will never hear back from. Buyer beware. I wouldn't buy gift cards from them for anyoccasion and if you want that kind of food get that gift card from Cafe Rio instead! They'll take it! Update: Corporate neverreturned my phone call. This was my first time at Costa Vida and it was great! You can see them cooking up fresh tortillas behind the counter, so that... always seems to be a good sign. :) I had the salad and it was a huge serving. I brought some home as leftovers. The sweet porkis delicious and I'd highly recommend this restaurant overall! Read more
