This place use to be awesome, but recently, it?s been far less than desirable. The last three times we have eaten there, there... is always something. The online site never works for ordering; even their connection with post mates and does ash seems to beproblematic. They rarely ever answer the phone and when they do, sound so annoyed that you even called. The new in-store managerseems to be the biggest issue. She is usually the one to answer the phone and truly doesn?t seem to like people. One of the lasttimes I was in there to pickup food, she was at the register when the phone rang and, very frustratingly, said ?If that phonerings one more time I swear??. The last time we ordered through postmates (since their actual site never works anymore) we got acall from them sailing they can?t fulfill chicken items and that we had to call postmates to cancel our order and then reorderwith them. She, the in store manager, always makes excuses and blames it on the new management. Guess what lady, YOUR the faceof the company so it?s YOUR responsibility. I do want to stress that ALL the other employees who work there (usually younghigh-school to college age kids) are always very friendly and helpful. In fact, the last times I was there they would roll thereeyes or give us ?the look? when the manager would sling her nonsense excuses and poor attitude. All I can say is that managementbetter get their acts together quickly, because soon even really good food won?t be able to make up for the experience. Read more
I've been coming to this place for many years...since they first opened. You used to be able to get a great hot dog, beef... sandwich, tamales. Everything was always good. Today I ordered a hot dog that I thought was a joke. It wasn't much bigger than apencil. The onions were so old and had been frozen. The tomatoes and pickle were so gross I thought they had been cooked. Theyjust lost our family's business forever. Will take the time to drive to Portillos in Tempe. Such a shame! Read more

So, I have been driving by this place forever and never stopped... my husband and I were craving a Chicago dog and I remembered... the location. WOW! This place has a Chicago feel when you walk through the door and there are many delicious choices. We bothwent for a simple Chicago dog and ate it too quickly to take a picture! I can't wait to go back and try the Italian Beef and allof the other options. Drop everything and make your way here for a fantastic hot dog! Read more
Who doesn?t love a good hotdog, keyword on Good! Chicagoland is a great hotdog spot in Mesa serving up some of the classics. If... your hungry, get the Ditka...you won?t regret it. The burgers and sides are tasty too and the staff is friendly andefficient. 10.02.22 EDIT: Over the last couple of months I have visited here a few times. The staff seems newer, but still verynice, but the food quality has been lacking. This is mainly in the bread/bun area. On my last three visits I have had hard/stalebuns and bread with one visit where I ended up just tossing the bread portions and eating the hot dog and Italian beef byitself. This type of thing is something that the food preparer would notice but serve anyways. Because of this, I have loweredmy rating to 3 Stars. When they are on their game, Hot Dogs & More is a great spot but as of late, the food experience has beensubpar. Read more

Not good. The previous ownership provided alot better experience which is why I keep coming back. This will be my last visit. I... ate here at the restaurant, so all they had to do was hand me the food across the counter. I opened my Styrofoam box to eat myhot dog and all the toppings were off the hot dog on one side of the box as if it had been dropped. The hot dog wasn't cold,butit wasn't hot. The bun was stale and the fries either weren't fresh or the oil needs to be changed. Plus I waited double theamount of time that I usually would for the same order. Unfortunately, new ownership sometimes means "worse". That seems to bethe case here. It cost me $9 for this lunch Read more
