Reviews for Cafe Zupas in Mesa, AZ
This place doesn't turn on the sign lights outside. When I come here I always tell them to turn on the sign so we can get to... them without difficulty. They tell me no problem and they don't do anything. Read more
This place has the BEST strawberry Champagne dressing on their Strawberry Harvest salad! I've been ordering it for close to 10... years & it is always amazing! All of the food is actually really tasty! Read more
This location has been amazing with every fundraiser I've set-up. The customer service is great, even when dealing with an upset... customer. It's my favorite place to get a salad and whenever I'm sick, their lobster bisque is my go-to. Always so fresh too! Read more
This location should really look into replacing their beat up tables and chairs. The tables and chairs are so wobbly that your... plates of food won?t even stay in place. Although their food is good, there are never any clean tables to sit in. Read more
I have never been to this place. We only came because Jimmy John?s was closed. I went in into Dana park location at 8:15pm.... Michael the manager was cleaning the lettuce station. We walked up happily and said hello. He said I?ll be right with you. Itold him to take his time as we didn?t know what we wanted since we never been here .I even let some other patron go ahead ofus. Once we figured out what we wanted I apologized to him for taking our time. I place the first order then wanted the secondorder the same however, differently due to allergies. He got flustered as he explained to the worker what sandwich. He had toexplain three times and he kept saying two turkey avocado with mayonnaise. I told him no it?s going to be the same sandwich buteach sandwich would be altered. He sighed and then asked again what. I felt like he was annoyed and then I apologized again forhaving a large order. I finally got to my 5th order which was my husbands and told him that I was sorry that my husband wasindecisive. He didn?t once say no worries, it?s ok, or anything to make the situation comfortable. I looked at the clock and itwas 8:23pm and said that luckily there was still time to order. He looked at the clock still not acknowledging theuncomfortableness that he us feel. At this point after apologizing and still feeling overwhelmed and pressured and discriminatedI asked if he was the manager. He said he was. I asked who his immediate boss was and he said Jason. I asked for his contactinfo which he responded that he couldn?t give me his info but an email. I finished ordering the sandwiches and at this point Ifelt like all the workers were looking at me and I feel embarrassed and again apologized for having such a large order and thatI normally order ahead of time at places since it?s a large family. I said I was gonna go to Jimmy John?s but that they happento be closed. Again apologized and everyone still looked annoyed. Once at the register Michael asked if I wanted Read more
I used to love this place. My go to was their mango berry salad but today I found a bug in the container before I opened it. I... don?t even want to think about how many critters I?ve eaten after this experience. :( Read more
Could have been 5 stars if they kept better track of our order. The food was good and the service fast, but instead of ordering... once, you have to tell them what you want at each station. This was our first visit, so we weren't familiar, and it wasn'tclear, until I started to tell the sandwich guy what soup I wanted and was told in an annoyed response that soup was the nextstation. My wife had a protein bowl, which she would recommend. My children attempted the mac n cheese, which was actually eggnoodles in a watery cheese sauce, that they didn't like. Won't be feeding the children here again, but my sandwich and soup werequite good. Read more
Service was slow, food took forever and portion size was ridiculous. I had a few sprinkles of lettuce on my sandwich. Potato... soup was the like warm milk. Hoping it?s just this location. Gilbert location has always been great but stay away from Danapark. There was a gentleman that slipped and fell on water right in front of us and employees/management seemed to care less. Read more
