Unique experience with the family dining. Went here for my husband's birthday and wasn't aware how this place works. Since it... was his birthday he picked for the whole table. We had Caesar salad (which was excellent), cheese garlic bread & spaghetti withmeat sauce. The sauce was very good. Everything was very tasty & the portions were large. Got small orders, we had 3 people. Wewere all full when we left & had a lot of spaghetti left to bring home with us. Will for sure go here again & check out anotherentry next time. Read more
This was the least enjoyable time at Buca di Beppo in the 15 years I’ve come here. The meal started out great actually, but... went downhill from there. A mainstay for me that I must get every single time is the antipasto salad, and it did not disappoint.Wish I’d just stopped there and got some bread to go with the salad and called that a dinner. That salad has always maintainedhigh quality over the years, but it’s also now $23, and that’s a good $10 more than it was just a few years ago which seemsexcessive to me, but inflation, inflation, they all say. We shared two entrees between the 2 of us. The fettuccini Alfredo wasVERY dry and I felt like I needed extra sauce on the side which is not how that dish should ever work. The second item was thestuffed cheese raviolis with meat sauce, which was the better entrée of the two, but they too were ultimately just ok. Aboveaverage but definitely not great. Neither entree justified the $30+ per plate at all. Now on what disappointed me themost… Our waitress never brought us the appetizer bread with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar which is alwayscomplimentary. We asked for bread mid-meal thinking she’d bring that item. Instead she brings back garlic bread which theywanted to charge about $10 for. The bread did not look nearly as appetizing as the complimentary bread brought in the past. Whenwe said we thought the bread was complimentary, she said, “Oh yeah, we have that, too.” ??????????? Well… why not offerthat right when first seated? So we rejected the bread and the extra $ at that point because we were too full to pay for breadthat wouldn’t keep if brought home as leftovers. Really wish she’d offered us the bread once freely offered. And the secondVERY disappointing thing was when we took the $18 hit and bought what is normally the most outstanding dessert on the menu: thetiramisu. Fantastic restaurant. Got the salmon plate and my god I definitely got my moneys worth and more. Bread is fantastic as well... Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Daniel treated me amazingly. These people are attentive. I fully recommend this place, hands downthe best Italian I’ve had in the valley. First time customer of Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant and it was a truly wonderful experience. There was only one other table... sat besides us, so the restaurant was pretty quiet besides the radio playing. The restaurant is covered in cool memorabilia andis very clean and well kept. Our hostess and server were both very kind and helpful. We were greeted and sat instantly by thehostess. The server was very attentive and we had our drinks and food quickly after ordering. The food was absolutely delicious!The majority of people in my party cleaned their plates! The rest of us took our leftovers. Overall this was an amazingexperience!
