Food is great! We loved steak and chese burger and pesto burger. Service was good too.

First the waitress had a lousy attitude. She didn't talk about the specials, she assumed that we knew what salads were offered,... what sides were offered. To top it off she never asked how everything tasted while passing by us numerous times or asked if weneeded anything else. By time we ordered the couple that sat down after us had ordered, ate and left. 2nd the appetizer (beefwrapped in puff pastry) was burnt and I actually thought it tasted a bit like bad seafood. 3rd we ordered the Tomahawk steakwhich comes with two sides (we got loaded mashed potatoes) and two small salads. For $140 you would think that at least 50% ofit would not be fat. The potatoes tasted fake and watery. The broccoli was overcooked also. Nor did she ever ask us if we wanteda refill on our drinks. When we were almost done eating the waitress came over to give us the bill. All of a sudden she's beingnice and having a full blown conversation. What a fake. We went here for our one year anniversary. Thankfully we will not ever,ever, ever come back to this restaurant again. I am recommending to spend your money elsewhere for at least a half decentmeal. My girlfriend gave her a 20% tip. If I seen it she wouldn't of got anything. You work for your tips. It's not anobligation. Read more

In town from Texas for work and ended up in Tomahawk Butchery and well worth the visit. Had the Cubano sandwich and it was... great, the meat and bread fresh and the mustard tangy and large enough for two meals. Went there for lunch and will definitelyreturn for dinner to try their steaks. Read more

We showed up before the dining hall/restaurant was open, however the staff was super friendly and informative so we came once... they opened. The atmosphere is dark and cozy, the hostess very friendly and welcoming as well as fast considering she was thehostess/waitress and all for the tables that where present. The menu has some fancier pub foods like beef Wellington bites andother steaks. The food was well seasoned and cooked well. This is a quaint and cozy tavern and steak place. Our first time there and really liked the service and the menu options... offered. We tried their sandwich and soup that evening and both were delicious. Looking forward to come back and try theirtomahawk steak entrees. Read more

Absolutely fantastic food and service. An up and coming gem for Merrimack. Our food and drinks were beyond fantastic and our... steaks were on par with or better than Buckley's just down the street. My filet sliders were a delicious surprise. Our bartenderwas so pleasant and helpful and while we love many steak houses, we are enamoured with Tomahawk. Read more

We waited patiently for the Tavern to open due to the COVID outbreak. They have not disappointed. Staff is friendly and... knowledgeable about the menu. Beer and wine list is fabulous. A simple request for an inexpensive champagne was immediatelyaccommodated and available at our next visit. (Thank you Joanne). I can?t say enough about the food from a perfect lobsterroll, shrimp salad and the fabulous steak sandwich. I am a big fan of ordering off of the ?specials? menu. The burger I had atour third visit was one of absolutely best burgers I have ever eaten. We really enjoy the booth seating with personal tv. Sox,news whatever... And a good mix of music in the background works for us. Can?t wait to try the Tomahawk steak. It looksamazing. The presentation of all of the food was fantastic. You won?t be disappointed! Read more
