This review here is for the Chiang Mai Sai Ua sausage alone. It is very authentic. Some of their other food is too but I really... wanted to give a shout out to a lot of thai restaurant for actually making a complete authentic northern thai sausage! Myhusband is from Thailand so we have been back to visit family and even been up to chiang mai so I have had their famous sausageat various spots there. My only suggestion would be to also offer a more mild version as this is very spicy but again authentic.Love all the flavors and herbs inside, some of the spices/herbs include kaffire lime leaves, galangal, lemongrass ,turmeric andmore. ???? wow so amazing. If you can handle spice, try this! But don?t forget to add a side of sticky rice to eat with it.Updating to say we have never been disappointed here. Always get good service here which along with good food is also important. Read more

We stopped by for lunch when it almost closed but the server happily took we in. It is really hard to find a good Thai... restaurant around our place but we?re glad to find one. The restaurant was furnished in a modern and traditional style aswell. Food was flavorful and delicious. We had grilled squid, coconut shrimp (so good), and a salad for appetizers. The Mamatom yum was a bomb importantly it wasn?t salted at all (must try). The last dish was shrimp pad thai which was okay Read more

I happened to spot A Lot of Thai as I was passing through Merrimack and decided to check it out. I have lived in Thailand for... four years and fallen in love with with cuisine. Looking at the menu I saw many Asian inspired dishes which were not necessarilyThai. I did however find Miang Kham, one of my favorite dishes. Miang Kham are basically leaf cups which are filled with tinybits of hot, sour, salty, sweet goodness along with a dipping sauce. In Thailand you create your own leaf cup from bowls ofpeanuts, coconut, ginger, lime, chili's, and more. I was curious to see how A Lot of Thai would present this dish. Needless tosay, I was not disappointed! Each bite left my mouth wanting more. If you are in Merrimack, New Hampshire and are looking for aquick bite, try the Miang Kham... it's well worth it. I'm so happy that my family and I found this place. We had one of the best experiences dining out here, really. The food was... fantastic! Seriously the best Thai food my wife and I have ever had the experience of tasting. We started off with the cutemini salad bites that aren't something I've seen before. It give you a peek into what this restaurant has to offer you;uniqueness. They were packed full of flavor with a nice crunchy texture from the glazed peanuts and coconut shavings. The saucethey drizzle on top hits the spot. My noodle soup broth was incredibly flavorful with a perfect harmony of sweet, sour, saltand umami. The noodle texture wasn't overcooked and it came with chili oil on the side to add in for my own taste. I kept onhaving this feeling of comfort and familiarity every single bite even though I've never had that dish before. The curry had anamazing flavor as well. The spice blend along with the coconut milk had this zing unlike any other curry I've tasted. Someonehas spent many years perfecting it, you can just tell. The salmon was cooked to where it flaked off easily and was moistinside. To finish it off we got the banana sticky rice with coconut cream. My goodness, let me tell you it was just fantastic. You could taste the essence of banana leaf from being steamed inside of one. I could differentiate every grain of rice with eachbite. It wasn't some humongous gloop like you'd get at other places. The banana still kept its shape and form but was soft justlike the rice. The cream wasn't too sweet either, which I appreciated. It allowed the natural sweetness to come through with thecoconut. I wish I could give this place 100 stars. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. It's not every day I stumbleupon a restaurant of this quality. We live an hour away but we'd drive two hours so we can have date night here regularly. Aspecial thank you to our server and the staff for being so kind and welcoming. We can still see those big smi Read more
