Great spot for a coffee break! Outstanding service! My 73 year old uncle did not have his hearing aid and misunderstood his... wife's order. The barista was kind enough to make another drink for her saving my uncle quite some embarassment. Thank you foryour extremely kind treatment of the elderly. Woke up early to a dreary, rainy morning, wandered into this sleepy little hamlet... 3 minutes later I happened upon this quaint... Cafe. I was greeted by friendly smiles and prompt service. $10 breakfast special was filling. If you are coming from the waterand need to dry off, the SE table has a powerful vent to dry. Travelled 2 hours today to enjoy what Merrickville had to offer and let me tell you this little coffee shop is worth the drive.... Nice little cafe in Merrickville. We have only tried the coffee so far, an espresso, latte and cappuccino. All were very good, a... distinct flavour without being overpowering, really well balanced and prepared. They also have a selection of sandwiches, soups,breakfast including omelettes, sweets, etc. Service has been friendly and efficient. Will be back next time we?re in town. Read more
