I ordered the beet feta salad among three other orders for lunch take out. Sadly disappointed to see iceberg lettuce (in huge... chunks) with four beet slices, maybe a half sliced radish,a few small pieces of cucumber and three small slices of red onionrounds. The feta was ?off?. Thought it may have been blue cheese but didn?t look like blue cheese. There wasn?t a lot ofcheese in the lettuce salad. Best pizza we've had since moving out this way. More than worth the drive from Smiths Falls. We had the Main's Combo pizza and... the free small pepperoni. So delicious!! The crust was firm and a little crunchy & burnt on the edge (the way I like it). Allthe toppings stayed in place for the drive, held on with lots of cheese. They have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch &dinner. Lots of people inside for a Thursday night. + friendly service, will be back. Stopped for lunch here, having come here for many years. We really enjoy their Mainstreet Nachos. this time some of the nachos... were a little overdone, but all in all they were quite good. Reasonably good amount of cheese, although I didn't see a lot ofgreen peppers or olives like in the past. The meat was a bit skimpy but still reasonable. Both those could be improved a bit.The only suggestion I have is to provide more than one small container of salsa and sour cream as there is more than enoughnachos for two people here and that is just not enough of those....there should be three times that amount. The Mainstreet lagerbeer is good and we always order that with the food. I am not that fond of the pizza, or some of the other generic dishes likethe fish, but that is just me. Read more

A really good old-fashioned family restaurant with a wide variety on the menu. Moderately priced with generous servings. Very... nicely presented and very good, what more can you ask. Beautiful view from the patio out across the park and the locks. Theideal place for boaters just a short walk and not out of sight of your boat. Read more

Wonderful staff. I love the new additions to their menu. We enjoyed the Vegan options as well. I had the chicken parmesan pasta... and my vegan boyfriend got the veggie burger with guacamole added, and veggie pizza no cheese. Read more

Great Little Restaurant in Merrickville - highly recommended. I brought my folks and sister for lunch by coincidence few weeks... ago (on a Friday early afternoon). I was worried due to COVID restrictions and high number of patrons already in the restaurantthat it would be difficult to get a table. It wasn't at all. No reservations required. Immediately they gave us a table for 4indoors. My elderly mother and father enjoyed their meal. Myself I ordered the baby-liver platter which was really good, andit was reasonably priced. The only drawback was that it took a while to be served (almost 25 min), but since we were not in arush we simply enjoyed the atmosphere and décor. Will certainly come back again. Read more
