The Chicken Parmigiano was tough for both my partner & I. The cheesy garlic bread was lacking garlic flavor and tough. It was... almost like bread microwaved. The coke was out of syrup flavor. I was really disappointed. La Piazza in Plainview used to bevery good 10 yrs ago. I expected Merrick to rise to the occasion. They don't even serve antipasti salad. My family and I were on the lookout for a restaurant to dine at before attending a concert at Jones Beach. I stumbled across La... Piazza in Merrick as a possible option for us. This was my first time ever at the establishment. Upon arrival, there is aparking lot for the restaurant entrance and also a valet parking lot for the catering entrance. The restaurant provided afamily-friendly atmosphere and was boisterous in noise. My family and I ordered the Garden Salad for an appetizer, the GrilledSalmon, and the Cavatelli Napolitano. Each dining table already has grated cheese, red pepper flakes, and oregano. The food wasserved at a reasonable pace. I would most likely return when in the area! Read more

I was driving through Bellmore and my buddy recommended this place, said it was good for kids so we stopped in for a quick... dinner. We started with the fried calamari which was pretty good. The kids enjoyed their pizza. So all in all, the food wasdecent, not the best, but it does the job. The service was terrible…Hostess sat us down and didn’t give us plates/utensils,someone brought us bread and butter and ran off, still no utensils. After a few minutes I got up and took the stuff from anothertable across the way. We ordered the kids a side of fries which we never received after asking for them multiple timesthroughout the service. Prior to the check coming, we wanted to make sure the fries were taking off the bill because we neverreceived them and her response was “I canceled the order before when you said you didn’t want them; I could only shake myhead. If your looking for good pizza or a good salad,look no further. On of my favorites for salad with chicken or steak. They are a... little busy but u are seated withing reasonable time. The pecans on the salad, wow I just can't get enough. The bread served onthe table is so fresh and warm . Every visit the quality in service and food are always top notch.- You have to try the Caprinosalad with added pecans and subbed for grilled chicken or steak or the Pecan salad with grilled chicken or steak. Food is great, quality stands even though prices are higher, even regular soda prices are bit expensive. Staff is friendly and... nice, love the lunch specials. Variety and Taste both amazing ... vodka sauce pizza and buffalo chicken pizza - must try!Cappuccino is awesome!
