Wonderful local bakery. Love the samples, seeing the crew in motion, and the customer service.

Road construction almost made me give up before I found the place. I am glad I didn't. They have samples to try and lots of... inventory. The glass windows shows thier expansion and people actually making the product. It's authentic, fresh, and verytasty. Thr young lady at the register was cheerful and helpful. Povitica is something my grandmother made, and thus reminds meof when I was a kid. One loaf serves 6-8 people. I highly recommend you give this place a try. Read more

I have ordered poticas from you for a number of years now and they were every bit as wonderful as my mothers. Since the poticas... were so good I took advantage of the bogo offer for the cinnamon crumble coffee cake. Sorry to say they were awful. It was verydry and the crumble was not really edible. You could have broken a tooth eating it. I kept one out and froze the other. Aftertrying I threw it in garbage. I offered the frozen one to a friend. He also said the same thing and dumped his in the garbage. It cost me $29.99 but I learned a lesson. I?ll still buy the poticas. ?wonderful. Read more

I've ordered from Strawberry Hill ever since my dear Gram couldn't make povitica anymore. As good as those orders are, nothing... beats being in the store. They had amazing samples, friendly people, and you can actually watch the people making the poviticathrough the huge glass windows. It was such a great experience. I bought 2 and a t-shirt to remember the experience (ok, and amagnet as well). My cousin and I love the place, and I was so excited she had us go while we were in town. Check it out, youwill love it! A Holiday Treat You know the old saying, ?You never know what you miss?? and so forth. Well in terms of holiday treats, at... least for me, it?s true. Being away from home, I?m missing some of my favorites that are not offered here in South Carolina. Ipurchased a loaf of Strawberry Hill?s famous ?po-va-Teet-sa? bread and allowed my co-workers to sample it. They agreed that itwas delicious. During my brief visit back to my hometown, I went to the bakery and had a chance to sample the coffee cakes andother breads in different flavors. Hands down the Cinnamon Cream Cheese Coffee Cake won over my taste buds. I feel the need toorder another to get me through the holidays. Overall: Don?t let the season escape you without giving this special bread a try. Read more

I received a cinnamon cheese coffee cake. Was going to give it to my neighbor. Good thing I looked at it. I would have been... embarrassed had she seen this. Never had any complaints about the Povitica but would never order a coffee cake again. Read more

This little gem is tucked away on a side road along I-35. But after a Google search, I found it and was blown away I hadn't... been here already. There is a cute room of delicious samples with a full glass wall view into a vast bakery kitchen where themagic happens. The English Walnut is the solid go-to starter, and they have plenty of other delicious options to explore fromthere. (I also chose the Strawberry Cream Cheese) Both are delicious, but you simply cannot go wrong with the English Walnut. Dense. Tasty. RICH. Do yourself a favor and pick up a loaf of this heaven.
