I don't blame the staff really, it's just an absolutely horrible tech system/corporate support structure. I have had sooo many... issues with Dominos over the last year, but this situation was the straw that broke the camels back. I had 80 hungry kids at aschool event to feed at noon. I put in the order for 22 pizzas several days in advance. At 10:53am they called me to tell methat they were cancelling the entire order. Their whole store was out of dough. How do you run out of a dough when you are apizza place? And if you did, but the system knows there is a massive order first thing the next morning, why didn't I get amessage last night? And if their corporate structure was anything, why weren't they contacting other stores to see if anyoneelse could start making pizzas? Why did I have to call a bunch of pizza places trying to cobble together an order large enoughto feed all these kids? I ended up putting in an order at Pizza Hut, and all pizzas were on the table by 12:20pm, so only 20minutes late total. Considering the super late notice they got, that is amazing. My husband and I decided on pizza tonight, we placed the order, added a tip, and were excited to receive our pizza. After a... quick refresh of the page, we uncovered the order had been canceled without explanation. We called the location and theyimmediately hung up. Tried again, same thing. Once more, same thing. Tried a different phone. You guessed it, same thing. Itried calling to ?place an order.? I was connected with a call center who explained they couldn?t do anything but they wouldtransfer me to the location. The line audibly picks up and slams down, disconnecting the line. We never received resolution, wenever spoke to someone at the location, and we are still waiting a refund of the tip we paid. If you cancelled the orderbecause you are understaffed, that?s understandable. Perhaps place a note on the website? Or have the common courtesy to answerthe phone instead of rejecting it. This location cancels online orders randomly without any notice. You will be sitting there thinking you're food is being... prepared, and then it just gets cancelled. They also do not answer the phone, and if they do they will answer and hang it up.This store should not ever accept online payment if they cannot honor the order. You also have to wait 2 days to a week for arefund for an order the store has cancelled. The order we placed also was for pickup, and I was already on the way to thelocation before I found out it was cancelled. I didn't even order delivery so this is just rediculous. Avoid ordering online atthis location if at all possible. Read more
I placed an order for my free pizza and went through the process of paying for my order, however, when it was paid for it was... canceled. I called the store and was told they didn't have a driver, he said they don't have drivers for some nights... To behonest and as a consumer I don't understand. I'm sure I will loose my free pizza - Oh well guess need to find a new place. Thelast time I went to this same store to buy 5 large pizza's the gal working there just kept making pizza's and never took myorder... I went to Casey's instead... Pre-ordered my pizzas for a birthday party on 9/3. Delivery time comes around afternoon of party and no pizzas. I call and call... and no one answers so one of my party guests drives to the store. We were thinking maybe they were delayed and pick up would beeasier. He gets to the store and it's not even open! Lights out doors locked on a Saturday afternoon. So I had no food to feedmy guests! The pizzas were already paid for. The least they could have done is called me or given me a heads up. I calledcorporate and they said the store owner would call me. Still waiting on the call! They had no problem taking my $100 though. Ifinally reached the store and talked to the new manager who gave me a refund but it took almost 2 weeks. Ordered online for carry out and specified light cheese and paid for double topping and was given a pizza full of cheese and... next to no toppings? when I arrived to pick up my pizza they had all lights off with appearance of being closed. There was twoemployees in there one was was working very hard to manage all aspect of the store, including making multiple orders and takingmy payment while the other was just standing there on her phone not attempting to lift a finger. Unfortunately didn?t see anyhand washing or glove wearing while handling food and money. Will never order again and it?s unfortunate that every pizza placein my area is giving the same poor service. Ordered some wings and a brookie at 7:43. Order was made and left the store at 8:19. Arrived over an hour later at 9:30 so cold... it all had to be reheated. Every single time I order from this store, it's a bad experience. I have literally gotten automaticapology offers the last three times or so without even complaining, because they already knew how bad it was. I don't even usethem, because they are usually expired by the time I come back, since I usually just order other places. But Dominos is my favpizza chain so I occasionally screw up and order from here again only to be reminded how terrible this store is. Settle forPapa Johns or Pizza Hut, honestly.
